Herbie Hide just fought a Hungarian no hoper and KO'd him in the 3rd. Dmitiry Pirog got a really wide UD decision against a decent enough Ghanaian Kofi Jantuah.
Next up is Denis Bakhtov vs Steffen Kretschmann should be a decent fight fancy Kretschmann though.
Anybody else watching its on British Eurosport

Just saw the Hide fight... picked his punches well but the other guy was several leagues below.

The Kretschmann fight just happened he hurt Bakhtov early with nice punches I was impressed and then a right hand landed he did an Enzo Mac dance and looked to the canvas as if he had slipped and then a big punched landed again and he went down he got up and looked shaky but then seemed to get better but the ref called it off poor decision imo he looks chiny though but good boxing ability

Hide looked good in spurts, but didint really get out of 2nd gear. He has slowed up a fair bit since his heyday.
I'd like to see him in with Enzo Mac next.

Hide was lucky not to get DQd. Should have at least had a point off. Rabbit punched the guy (I know he was turning a lot) about half a dozen times. Ref warned him far too often.
Hide looked shite I thought. Needs to get back to top level or he's going to lose it.

Definetly he looks there for the taken but he is miles out the guys league but he needs a competitive fight soon maybe the loser of Braithwate vs Cunningham

Yeah agree, Hide's accuracy is awful these days.

I got it on SKY+ but for some reason the recording fcuked up.
From what I did see. Kretschmann deserved to get stopped IMO The guy couldn't hold a glass of water let alone a decent punch. The ref dived in to help him recover from a "canvas slip" when it was a temple punch that had him doing the chicken dance ala Zab Judah. On the knockdown he was swaying on the ropes like a friday night drunk and the ref could see he was going to get brutally KO'd, so stopped matters there and then.
He's about as much of a prospect as the Roth brothers.

I was very impressed with him until his Judah dance then he got hit again and i dont think the ref was right he looked shaky when he got up but by the time it got to 8 i thought he looked ok but he wont go far with a chin like that imo

i've had my eye on dmitry pirog for a while. looks like a top middleweight prospect. wins over ajetovic and now kofi jantuah. isn't this what darren barker should be doing??
if anyone can get it onto disc i could swap or send money for it.
