A safe enough comeback fight, but as soon as he fights someone with a half decent dig he will be KO'd again.

The board need to step in here and stop him from fighting.

Yeah, a very modest opponent (in terms of skill) it has to be said. Nothing wrong with it as a comeback fight, or possibly a go-out-on-a-win fight. Or maybe he just needed the money!

yep. if he has no legitimate physical problems earl has the right to fight on,although i must agree with people who are saying he s an accident ready to happen

Absolutely.

Being cleared to Fight should not only take into account the Physical state of their body but also their mental faculties and just hearing a Boxer talk is a clear indication as to whether they have sustained any injuries to the brain or not.

Even getting them to recite the Alphabet Table would indicate their level of speech motor skills and reveal any possible injuries so therefore reject their Boxing License.

This is yet another situation where the boxer may need to box on because he wants to earn some brass to pay the bills.

I have met Graham on a couple of occasions this year - to be honest I do not think he should box on - he wants to and as such once he has made that decision its only the BBBofC who will persuade him otherwise.

Graham is a top man - I just wish he would find another way of making a living in boxing other than getting into the ring himself.

I like the bloke(remember his brother David who was very good in the Amatuers as well both good lads)he could end up gettin badly hurt by some boxer who couldnt live with him in his prime...SHAME...

I personally dont think there is a massive difference with regards to speech etc etc to when I first met him 10 years ago - clearly we all move on - what concerns me most is when Graham steps up to domestic class - I just dont want to see him get beat badly - he is one of the nice guys and I repeat I just wish there was another way he wanted to earn money to pay the bills.

Surely he can get involved in a training way.Maybe he need the £££££
but safety comes first,like i said before he will end up getting hurt by someone who shouldnt be in the ring with him...
No disrespect to Castle but in his day Graham would beat him with ease...

I guess part of the problem is that he would only go onto the unlicensed circuit and do it that way.

Perhaps the board are taking that view......

On the earlier post, I think once a guy loses as often as Taylor does the board ought to step in, though there is the other argument that he isn't being knocked out all the time..... but he doesn't come to win, he comes to not get knocked out... which I think is against the spirit of all sports, not just boxing.
