...i can't get youtube..is this robinson/charley fusari? as as far as i know it's the only footage available. robinson carried fusari in this fight. his purse wen to a charity and he was charitable to fusari as well.

I loved that place.
I was an usher there at 16.
Great fight venue and a great fighter.
Bobby Dykes was a real solid fighter too.
He just passed away not too long ago.

There are several fights of Robinson while he was still campaigning at WW. Its just that most people dont have them and idiots like Max Kellerman who have never seen them constantly insist they dont exist. His fights with Riccio, Becket, Flores, Abrams, Angott, Docusen, and Fusari all exist to name a few.

One thing that is good about YT is that slowly more and more
rare fights and bouts of guys, who not to many non hard core
fans know about are emerging so that they may be remembered.

i remember the bobby dykes match on live tv, so i should have figured there's be a record somewhere. i'd expecially love to see the one with docusen.

in the bobby dykes fight i recall srr standing on one foot and jabbing dykes and some folks in the crowd got pissed because of his show boating, but i thought it was great. i think it was just in the last round.

I have the Dykes match but unless Im mistaken Ray was already fighting at MW at that point and was facing Dykes for the Pennsylvabia World Middleweight title.

..klompton......yes, srr was fighting as a middleweight then....though the dykes fight was just a ten round one, so i don't know how that actually was for one of those state totals robby was picking up at the time. maybe you can clear this up for me. thanks.
