Just watched Chambers-Dimitrenko. Paul Thomas has no shame..

...in scoring that fight even. Even the home crowd went mental when it was announced. Chambers outclassed him and dropped him twice. Kerry Katona against Salman Rushdie on Countdown would be a more closely contested event.
This is people's livelihoods he's playing with. Are there any potential sanctions against such obviously ill-advised behaviour? He should be made to justify his scoring and when he patently can't, banned for at least a year.

Let us not forget that Paul Thomas though Robin Reid beat Joe Calzaghe, when even Reid thought he lost.

Everybody knows Paul Thomas and Dave Parris are bent. They will always be remembered as BENT and I will make sure of that on this forum. Richie Davies is the best ref in Britain.

I came on here specifically to start a thread on this subject, so i am glad I wasnt alone in feeling the embarassment of such a bent judge from these shores...... how can we ever mock the Germans for their home town scoring when it is one of our "top referees" that is doing it.... fornicating disgrace.... and like it has been said, this is peoples livelihoods you are playing with. A shitty decision like that could cost a fighter hundreds of thousand dollars.

All Thomas cares about is his lifestyle at this point in his life. Getting flown over to Germany staying in plush hotels and getting the best treatment. In his opinion that's well worth screwing fighters.
He has revealed what an utter scumbag he is and it's great that everyone sees this scum for what he is. Stay in Germany you scum.

Paul Thomas always used to be Mr 120-108 regardless.
Surprised he had it a draw.

Yep sounds like he's definitely been caught with his pants down here, when even the Germans called his scoring "bizzare". The promoters were no doubt hoping for a bit more subtlety here, though they should probably be grateful PT didn't vault the ropes and try to stop the fight in Dimitrenko's favour in the first round.

I'm a Forest fan.
It was tongue in cheek before I enrage the entire city of Derby.

To be fair I thought that was the angle you were coming from: those long held East Midland rivalries die hard I suppose.

Is Paul Thomas the one who ripped off Vanzie against Earle?
Yes, they both appear BENT!
Richie Davies is the best ref, I spent the wekend in bed watching a few fights that he was in
charge of, especially Richard Willimas Vs Paul Samuels1 - great ref!
I am sure PT and DP are not bent, but they sure look like they are.

It was definitely close no doubt, but with the other 2 ref's scoring it 116 - 111 the other way, his score seems a little more silly to me.

Thomas has really disgraced himself. How can he show his face at a British fight again after that? He's shown that he is bent and a complete scumbag. I'm saying that according to the facts. He obviously went in to that fight with the intention of giving it to Dimitrenko regardless. He had no respect for the work and effort that a fighter had to put in. All he cared about was the thought of his fat arse sitting in a sauna at a 5 star german hotel that would be paid for by the promoters.
An absolute disgrace, and completely disgusting human being and I hope everyone realized just how much of an utter SCUMBAG this man is.

Oddly enough, in the female fight prior he had it for the American girl, who most people seem to think won. Maybe he was doing a little balancing act?

Exactly, no major scandal there. I think Glenn McCrory had it to Reid and I felt it was close enough to go either way.

Reid was bouncing that countering right hand off Calzaghe all night.. I had Calzaghe winning (IIRC) but Reid made a fight of it and it was a relatively close fight.
