I don't think solo has ever been hit that hard and he was cold, he was getting up, but them 2 punch's on the ground wern't love taps.
Royce Sio is a very dirty fighter IMO, the type of bloke that would king hit ya when you wern't looking. :shame:

What a goose. Solo still got up before the 10 count and was hit twice on the ground.

I don't think Solo was that hurt from the first shot. He was getting up when he got hit again.

Sio can punch but i dont think he wins a rematch.

Take nothing away from Royces first right-over hand knock down punch. I think he connected well and Solo wasn't really prepared for it. He became a bit too complacent which is a lesson for not only Solo, but any boxer to be prepared as if your fighting for a world title bout. I know a few boxers usually take it easy in the first initial seconds/minutes of the first round to suss and feel out there opponent, only to be a bit laxed on their defence.

...of course, every boxer has their own strengths, and sometimes going in hard for the KO works...it's not until you get in with a skilled smart boxer that early on in the 3/4 round where the petrol starts running out. Especially if your not conditioned or fit.

Boxers like Royce need to work on Self-control otherwise you end up doing stupid things like he did. Apparently from an article I read, adrenalin got the better of Roy. He would of had a 50/50 chance of a KO/TKO win if he just went straight back to the neutral corner and followed up with a strong attack...then again it would of been interesting to see what would of happened if Solo recovered...

Give Royce a few more fights and then maybe a rematch with Solo.

after watching it sio just landed the lucky punch smack on and haumono should of known better for dropping his left guard some think you won't see from haumono again.I see a different story on the rematch cause haumono would take him into deep waters in later rounds which i dont see sio lasting the distance especially the speed they both went at in round 1.

Funny thing is, Sio a last minute replacement was suppose to be an easy fight for Solo. We all thought Solo was gonna KO him easy. We were WRONG then but now were 'smarter' we still think Solo will win hmmm???...I dont know Sio might not be good (cos he knocksout people higher ranked then him) but neither is Solo (who gets knocked out by someone whom us 'experts ' thought Solo was going to KO).

Yes Sio is bad for hitting Solo on the ground but it was an adrenalin thing and I believe that. So does Billy Dib he got caught up in the same thing.

Whatever hatred people feel about Sio they should have the same for Billy Dib cos (Dib) he had a fight where a Japanese guy might have slipped and then Billy Dib hooked him with the hardest 'cleanest' punch he gave on the night to a guy that was on both his knees. 'I just got caught up with...' muttered Dib the same adrenalin thing Sio had, only difference is that Dib WON his fight and Dibs on the ground hit was swept under the rug and as soon as Sios adrenalin episode pops up people attack him like hes the only one to do this.

FACTS. Sio can knockout Haumono. Haumono is an ok boxer. Sio and Dib both KO'd opponents on the ground. Boxers do not spend hours and hours and punishment in trainning to go out and lose by disqualification.

theres some boxers who go out and purposely throw the fight by DQ. They lose so they can make more money. Surprised you didnt know
