What are some of the highest quality fights that have come off with both fighters being undefeated?
I thought about this while watching Bowe/Holyfield I.

I really enjoyed the Lopez-Alvarez rematch, in 1998. Alvarez pushed the man I consider to be the most talented fighter of my lifetime (not quite the best, but for raw ability, yes) in a way he had so rarely, if ever, been, & Lopez responded well.
Holmes-Spinks I was high-profile, but not an especially entertaining battle. Drastically over-rated is Ibeabuchi-Tua --- cannot see the excitement about this for the life of me. Three high-profile bouts which really delivered on the action-front from 2000 were Barrera-Morales I, De La Hoya-Mosley I, & Trinidad-Vargas. The latter featured six knockdowns.

Hey, I forgot about that when I posted it. Maybe it's my subconscious kicking in --- I will state until I'm in my grave Tito got a gift. Should've been a match-up of two undefeated fighters, then.

It doesn't seem to happen much anymore. Pavlik/Taylor a few years ago maybe. Mayweather/Hatton. Since the new millenium ticked over, it seems to happen with less frequency.

Amen, Ike/Tua is the most overrated fight I've ever seen.
MAB had two losses for Erik.
Gomez/Zarate was a big one.

Zamora / Zarate was a better matchup than Gomez / Zarate due to the fact they were at their best weights

Seeing as we are listing ones where at least one of the contestants was not undefeated, I'll mention Ray Leonard vs Ayub Kalule.
I enjoyed that scrap. Kalule was a very good fighter. Check his record out.
An under-rated win for Leonard.
I also enjoyed it when they brought Kalule to Britain for Jimmy Price's coming out party. That went slightly wrong...
