Fraudley Harrison

Soon as this topic comes up I bet there are lots of growns on here, and lots that will say 'Who cares'
But, anything happened lately in his boxing life, has he retired or is he mouthing someone off, a possible fight in the coming months???

I think he's realised that you need to have some venom to back up your boxing skills, and has decided to take channel 4's money and move to america.

Why in the world would Haye even entertain the thought of facing Audley? Both guys are at the opposite ends of the radar in respexct of Boxing! One looks to have just secured a title shot against the man considered to be the best HW in the world, while the other hasn't evne won a world title!
Let's get real. Haye has achieved more in his career so far than Audley could ever dream of!

Why doesn't he try to get a third fight with Williams? Williams is beatable and he could win the British title.
There are plenty of domestic fights that he could get if he wanted them.

He wanted to fight Haye because he asked Haye for a slot on one of his shows and was told there was no room for him. Logical enough to me, HayeMaker launched themselves with an ethos of exciting fights and would have been ridiculed for signing him. Audley was offended though, recollecting occasions where he brought David Haye into events in the USA when he was the bigger name and when others apparently said Haye was using him.
Six months earlier they both said they wouldn't fight each other unless it was for a world title.
I do feel sorry for how its panned out for Audley (more so following the loss of his younger brother) but if they fought Haye would have him like a rabbit in headlights and win by early ko. It can't and won't happen though, these are two fighters a million miles apart in every way.

Audley Harrison killed boxing on the BBC stone dead with tepid displays which bored folk to death.
They had Froch and Haye doing decent numbers and providing thrills and spills, then they spunk their entire budget on Audley and bin off the two fighters they had followed from an embryonic stage of their amateur careers to back a gun-shy giant, boxing doormen and a debt collector.
Nice guy or not, personal tragedies aside , he's absolute pony.
He's made more money than Williams, Sprott and Rogan combined - and yet lost to each of them.

Well, appararently, last time I heard from him, he was going to become the HW champ this year, so he better get a move on because over half the year has gone already.
Maybe he'll have to postpone his plans for world domination until 2010.

We've already seen him exposed though. No real interest to see him flattened again. He had his big chance against Guinn and fought the way he usually fights when the fight, and the recognition, was there for him.

im not one to criticise any fighter but audley takes the biscuit,he feasibly could start from scratch and go for the british title but wont do so.His claims of world domination where tens times more outlandish then anything thats come out of the amir kahn camp

He should have maybe became an ambassador for Amateur boxing, with a decent salary and a lot of credibility.
As it stands, his gold medal might as well be a chocolate coin on a xmas tree.

it was channel 4 that harrison was contracted to i think.
To be fair if harrison had a bit of kill he could easily be world champ. his boxing ability is immence its just that when he gets hit he's like a rabbit caught in the headlights, and when he has the chance to finish someone of he steps off the gas like he frightened to hurt them. U can develop aggression, so i would never completely write his career off.
Also before Haye was famous i saw an interview with him where he said he would never fight harrison because he's really good friends with him and even if he won he wouldnt feel it was a victory he could be happy about.

It was definitely the BBC. They showed his first 17 fights or something.
He signed a 10 fight deal and then it was extended.
His final fight was Tomazs Bonin on the beeb.
