Just been informed that if you purchase the 9.00pm live event you will not be able to simultaneously record the show to your Sky+ box which is total crap if you ask me !

So no nipping in the bath, to the pub or whatever and then resuming the action.

More fiddling by Sky if you ask me.

I ve canceled my sky sports its extortionate in the current climate, and that your not allowed record is really disguting

I wont buy it then as was going to record it and watch it when my girlfriend goes to bed.

Same here - They're not getting an extra £15 from me if I can't even record it!

it says on tv guide press r to record so you should be able to record it. obviously being sky i rang up to ask and you cant actually speak to anyone

you def cant record it but you can pause it if dont need to watch anything else

Maybe, but I think 'live pause' only lasts for a maximum of 1 hour.

why pay for a live fight then watch it later?

you can record it on a DVD recorder or VCR.

Just rang them up you are supposed to be able top record it but they are having technical difficulties, trying to sort it out now

It seems to be working on mine, all i can say is it better be recorded and re4ady to go when i get home in a few hours or some poor sky customer service person is gonna get it

i think i might be cheeky and ring up sky tomorrow saying i missed it cause couldnt record and try and get money back. will prob end up spending 15 quid on fone call tho

They only charge you the fee if you either watched or recorded it. If you watched it, even for just a second they will charge you.

They have methods of checking unfortunately.

What other sports do Sky make PPV?

I recorded the fight Live and watched it back after it had finsihed at 1:00am No problems at all, i had problem earlier booking the fight but i rang them up and they sorted it.
