So I say credit where credit is due!

Since his awful debut, i think in the 2 following fights he has impressed.
Again last night he was punching with sharpness and power, stood his ground when he wanted , and moved around the ring well.
Not seen enough of him on the inside to see if he can fight there.

Next fight i'd like to see him take on the lad Sutherland fought last time, give us some comparison.

I think theyve bought fought the same lad already,
degale look good last night very composed and picking nice shots

They have both fought Vepkhia Tchilaia, that was on Degales debut, and Sutherlands 3rd fight.
The lad i'm on about is Gennadiy Rasalev, he gave Sutherland a good tussle last time out.

Ye he fought well looks like he has adapted to the pros now he looks very strong and heavy handed

is it just me though, or does Degale look a bit small of frame for a supermiddleweight?

I think I read somewhere that he was looking to make middleweight. I think he is lighter than Saunders now.

He was 165 for his last fight, maybe see him try the middle limit for his next one.

healy has been beaten up numerous times of recent. this needs taking into account.

Opinions have been changing from fight to fight though. One minute it's Sutherland, next minute it's Degale. The same goes for who's looking the best between Deagle, Saunders and Gavin. It will be another couple of years before we really start to find out who's got it and who hasn't.

jamie moore gave him sich a bad going over that i think it was downhill from there. moore destroyed him to head and body with murderous left hook/left uppercut combos.

i'd say the worst performance v healy of the guys to recently stop him was andy lee. just measured with right, threw single straight lefts, then back off and start again.

degale got a decent result but degale looks a bit soft. he looks like a comfy, well fed fighter, not necessarily someone with the eye of the tiger. good that he's punching with more impact.

Once he calms down a bit Travis Dickinson will go further than them all.

Has blistering power and just needs to slow things down a bit.

lol sutherland tried to make a statement in his 3rd fight and he nearly got knocked out lol his defense was shocking in his last fight..but he will learn and has alot of power

yes but hayemaker aren't getting him fights..the last time he fought was way back!! im getting fustrated he looks a real talent! in 3/4 years england will have the most world champions in world boxing..the talent we have is quality! especially super-middleweight.. degale will move up to super i think..then it'll be jeffries,sutherland,degale,saunders and groves..i cant wait!! what is it about brits and the super-middleweight division? eubank..benn..watson calzaghe froch and these prospects!

Saunders is a bit small for supermiddleweight....jeffreys and groves a massive compared to the rest........think sutherland will move to lightheavy and you spot on some great fights if they happen

Some of these names are gonna jump to light heavy at some point..Groves,Sutherland etc etc.. D D

I think DeGale can really fight. He does alot right and has a mental toughness beyond his years (No doubt due to the hugh pressure and spotlight he's already had to deal with). The country should deff get behind this one !

It will be another few years before they really get tested you cant judge who is the best so far between Sutherland, Degale, Groves, Dickinson, Jeffries as none have been tested none have had to dig deep for a result they're fights have all gone there own way and it will stay like that for another year at least
