I have never, ever met anyone here.

I wouldn't mind, as long as we'd communicated prior to the extent where someone doesn't say to me "Shall I call you Carbo?" upon meeting, which would make me want to vomit and run away.

My former lodger was really into World of Warcraft -- actually, it ruined his life, as even when he had no money, he wouldn't work because he was playing it so much, and he ended up getting kicked out of my flat by my former landlord when I moved to Moscow, and then developed a terrible chronic leg problem because he was sitting infront of the computer for 18 hours a day -- I kid you not.

Anyway, he had this "guild", whatever that is, where a bunch of guys who played -- from around Europe -- went on "raids" together, whatever "raids" are. A few who lived near us decided to meet up, and I went along, because it just so happened that a few of my mates were meeting in the same bar.

A thin, pallid boy with long, greasy fine hair, a conspicuously spotty face and a Metallica T-shirt approached as we entered the bar and said to my mate "XXXXXX*? Would you prefer XXXXXX or your real name? huh-huh-ha-he-he."

"Oh," I said. "I think I just saw Jenny, I'll leave you guys to it. See you later."

I'm not sure I could cope with the pressure of wondering whether the same would happen when meeting up with people.

i suspect boxing fans tend to be a bit more real life than fantasy game nerds.

i have never met anyone as a result of being on here....however i knew some people already from the fights....

i have been reading some posters for ages and have only just found out who the person really is

I've only met Rhino. I watch boxing from the confines of my home unless it's Prizefighter in London.

I've met a few from here, and have been out drinking a few times with a few of the guys from another boxing forum. No dramas...

I met James Mc, Ian Mc, Adam Williamson and Mighty W the last time Haye got beat. I nearly met Spud that night but he was busy behind the scenes. And he got me a signed poster, only thing that has stopped me complete hating him. I'm materialistic like that.

I met Rhino at Froch v .....ooh eck, erm Groenweld?

I'd like to promote the idea of Tyson Fury v John McDermott for our next catch up - I think that will be close to a five year anniversary.

I think once every five years is plenty.

I hope nobody calls me by my screen handle/tag - whatever it is.
