kell brook has stated to frnk warren that he wants michael jennings before the end of this year..he said he want's to make a statement by stopping jennings in 3 rounds..cotto managed it in 5 rounds..it is a waste of time brook will knock him out within 5 rounds definitely..he should step up for a european title shot and forget about jennings even tho jennings is a good operator kell is too sharp..powerfull and accurate for him

How easy Cotto walked through Jennings, it won`t really prove much on the world stage .. but I guess it would prove alot on the British scene.

I`d side with Brook fairly convincingly.

People are quick to rule out Jennings who is a decent dometic fighter.

It was a massive stage for the Lurcher against a comeback-Cotto, who was intent on making a statement.

Kell would obviously be favourite, but to assume he'd do him in 3 rounds? i cant see it personally.

Kell to win, but not as big as that. Perhaps it's just PR talk.

Be a good scrap between two likeable lads.

good fight for Brook, an exceptional talent & a far better fight than the recent ones. i think we'll see Brook do something big, as he did with the Scotsman.

I think Brook will emerge victorious against Jennings, but we shouldn't be so quick to discount Jennings chances. He is a seasoned pro, has experience & keeps himself in shape all the time! A fight against Brook & Jennings will have everything to fight & win for!

As for Brook saying he wants to TKO Jennings within three rounds, I think that's unlikely! It took Cotto five & despite how good Brook is, there's a world of difference between Kell Brook & Miguel Cotto!

Would be a very good fight for Brook at this stage of his career as he needs a competitive fight and Jennings will definetly give him that I would fancy Brook UD close risky but worth taking imo

even though i think brook is the best welter in the UK this would prove it if he wins

Brook is classy, Jennings is fit and able- would be a great match up.

I'd say, at this stage of their careers, it's a real 50-50 affair.

But yeah, love to see it, could make a great Friday Fight night.

yes but i dont think jennings will be sprinting away from brook like he was against cotto...well i hope not but kell will destroy him in my view

He certainly looks very sharp, but let's not forget he has (as yet) only fought English-British level boxers.

i know that mate but this kid is aswome ive never really rated ricky hatton and i think hes there for the taking give kel brook a year at euro class and rickys there for the taking

Cotto isn't a great fighter though. He has the tools but he can only used them for 6 or 7 rounds before he goes on the run cos he's knackered.

Brook is a big talent and with the right fights could be an excellent world class welter.

This is a great fight. As well as Kell Brook is doing at the moment, I have always thought the Jennings is technically one of the best boxers in the country. There is no CLEAR favorite for me. Hope it happens !

British fighters used to be able to do well in world title fights. I see a decline in British boxing with the beatings that Jennings and Lockett took. Used to be a god Brit could give a great world champion a few things to think about (Jacobs-Whitaker, Holligan-Chavez), to make it a bit more entertaining. The recent fights were like ritual sacrifices for WBO bloodletting. He was made to look like a nobody, was Jennings. A quick dynamic guy like Brook will likely really want to test Jennings early, see what he has left, take what confidence he has left right away.

I think getting beaten by Cotto will have affected Jennings' confidence. He was handled so easily and beaten in every way. Surely he will come in with huge doubts, if this fight happens. The match itself clearly seems like one to establish Brook, rather than to bring back Jennings. Brook is so quick. I would have loved to see him in with pre Cotto Michael Jennings. I see a big win by Brook, but I think he looks fragile and that he could get winded in mid rds vs a pressure fighter. Just not sure Jennings is the man to do it.

yeh but brook can box aswell he has a great jab..not just a points scorer it is powerful aswell..i cant see this one going the distance tho
