Nathan Cleverly and Kell Brook are the furthest along, who both look like they might do something on the World stage.

They're not exactly 30 year old European champions are they? Neither Cleverly nor Brook are hunting for a World title. They're not contenders yet. Jamie Moore is most definitely looking for a World title shot and is absolutely a contender.

To qualify for this list a boxer must be 25 years of age or less and must not have appeared in a WBC, WBA, IBF or WBO title fight.

I want to see less of him. Physically. He's fat, no reason for a prospect of his standing and growing PR to not back it up in the gym - he needs to look at the Klitschkos, lay off the pies and do some hard graft so he's fit. He can't rely on height and a bit of skill for too long.

he has a style like audley harrison though he has become a bit more explosive. he looks soft around the chest, like a comfy establishment fighter. i'm not bothered about degale. irishman darren sutherland has a better pro style even though he isn't british. kell brook looks great - similar physical talent to khan but more compact, more clean punching, more well balanced.

if ppl are going to mention cleverly and brook - domestic champs - then i will remind ppl that john murray could be going places. he isn't fast and isn't a puncher but he applies quality pressure, has excellent physical strength and a committed body attack. for his weight he hits a lot harder than cleverly, for instance.

for the record mate Murray isn't going beyond euro level, IMO, and Degale will be a better pro than the plodding Sutherland too, IMO

I don't think John Murray will get to World level either. He gets hit far too much. I don't think he will have a very long career and I think things will spiral down when he gets knocked out for the first time.

I'm a fan of all kinds of styles. I'm like watching Jamie Moore and Juan Diaz, both solid, pressure fighters. My favourite boxers to watch tend to be big punchers.

I'm a yank so I don't really no if my opinion counts. I admit Kell Brook came out of nowhere just recently and impressed me. I don't count Khan as a prospect anymore so I would have to say Cleverly. I'm really impressed with him. Hopefully he continues stepping up faster then Calzaghe ever did.
I like Tyson Fury but heavyweights have broken my heart before so I want to see what kind of shape, weight, and skill he brings to the McDermott fight.
I don't rank Olympians until they really step up.

EDIT: I'm still really suspicious of Kevin Mitchell. He is really getting the Fwank treatment.

I'm really looking forward to the Fury-McDermott fight. It'll give us a much better gauge of what stage Fury is at.

Kevin Mitchell is good, but something is missing. I don't know whether it's brains, ring smarts or adaptability, but something is not right. His defence is just not working. Mitchell struggles with Estrada and then Gamboa comes along less than a year later and blows Estrada away in 35 seconds. I think that shows their respective levels.

I do think Mitchell would have a chance against Roman Martinez.
