How does the Rating's Work?

Does anyone know how they work out the Rating?
If you look at the link you will see that number 5 is Stuey Hall he is above Moran who is number 6 and has fought at a higher standard and is the English super bantamweight Champion.. Also look at Number 16 James Barker has 1 and Drawn it but he is above unbeaten boxer's that had 5-0, 7-0, etc. Also through different weights iv spotted the same..

also martin i think the bantamweights r messed up bigtime mate jason booth is still in there even tho his last 2 fights av been at superbantam and craig lyon who hasnt really boxed anyone is rated higher than u and edmonds its shocking

Here you go Cuz,here's a link that explains how boxrec conduct their Ratings.

I have always looked on British boxing .net for the ratings,as i think they are more accurate.
