Why do Phillipinos always get robbed??

:witzend: :witzend: Most fights that i see a phillipino in is against a realli good fighter, but sometimes they get robbed(please dont hate, just want ur opinions) these philloz dont have any ameteur backgrounds which explains the many losses they have, such boxers as Jumar Dulog(who floored Lenny Zappa 2 TIMES at Marconi) has a record totally different to the way he fights, Rey Anton Orlate is another one, these 2 fighters i belive have beaten most of their opponents but were taken away unfairly, both these fighters fought STEVEN WILLS i believe they both won, also the fight with ASIKU JACKSON, Orlate floored him and still lost via UD........

Tell me wat yall reckon am i makin a point or a fool out of myself????

(by the way im not Phillipino im Aussie) :TU: :TU:

Well..... for a guy with 3 -4 posts it's very ballsy to start a thread about international boxers being robbed in Australia...... you have some good points, but i don't understand the one about Zappa, he did drop lenny twice but lenny ended up knocking him out.

Olarte is severly underrated and he has a win against rated Jason Pagara and Victor chernous.

I think he beat Asiku 3 out of 6 rounds and knocked Asiku down as well, so my math says Olarte won, heres what the judges came up with....60-54 59-54 58-54 to Asiku, two of the judges didn't even acknowllege the knock down, even after the ref applied the count.

OLarte countered Wills all night and i thought he done enough to win but pulled out a draw.
I also thought the fight vs Davey Browne was at least a draw, Browne didn't win the fight! Browne is a better pedigree, just didn't perform.

I never seen the Lincohn Stewart fight, but a SD loss, probally meant OLarte dominated the fight.

You can also throw in the Eadie fight as well, Olarte dropped him and won at least 3 rounds of the six.

I think the only way some of these guys from the Bohul team are going to get wins, is by completely embarresing there opponents or by KO.

Some of the guys that are getting these gifts by judges are only lulling themselves into a false sense that they are better than what they are, and only time will prove they are not.

Hounddawg, thanks for the reply its good to see that im not the only one who thinks this, did u see the fight between Ariel Omongos(philo) v Fatai Onikeke?? do reckon Omongos wouldve won that fight if he didnt give up??

The Zappa v Dulog fight, i didnt say that Dulog won, im just saying that there records dont realli show wat they are capable of.

Oh yea, being ballsy and starting a thread bout this has nothing to do with standing up for something i believe needs to be right and needs to be fare.

Thanks anyway :TU: :TU: cheers mate

No worries mate, it's good that you don't conform to other peoples ideas and beliefs and you have your own.

And yes mate i thought Omongos would have won against Oniekeke. I think Oniekeke is going to look impressive on someone's resume as soon as he steps up again.

I have found myself rather frustrated watching Aussie fight cards. No so much that I feel the wrong guy gets the decision but sometimes how wide the margian is to the aussie fighter.
Good post mate. Should get people thinking.

About 25 years ago a WA fighter named Tony Jones fough an experienced South American fighter and came away with a highly dubious decision. The visiting fighter clearly thought he'd won and so did most in attendance, by all accounts. But instead of founding off the fella simply said it was unfair to Tony Jones to be given such a decision. Very dignified response to a highway robbery :TU:

Most of the time they are overmatched and whopped, not robbed...

Fortunately Ranee Ganoy has bucked this trend but when he first came over here he was considered a Manila folder but after cutting a swathe through the locals, he quickly last that tag.

it can be frustrating because when some of these guys lose on points they have really tried hard and you feel for them but i suppose it happens in every country.

Most of these imported fighters are brought here with the expectation that they'll lose to the local. When they perform much better than expected and beat the local fighter but don't get the decision it does a dis-service to both fighters and the sport

It was a Haumono undercard, Sultan was robbed there badly, Awad won via UD that was BS :witzend:
