I really thought you were on a proper roll against Siddique and then the win over Fewkes afterwards.
I was ringside for the Fewkes scrap and later stuck it on youtube.
You've seemingly had some shit luck lately but hopefully can get back up there at 135 and get a British shot.

all the best martin-
are you planning on starting out a bit quicker. me and a couple of lads on here have said for a while your style is much more suited to longer-distance fights but that in the shorter ones it might harm you.
Black Country!

sorry for the late reply. but your right - i do need to start quicker, but against slick boxers it's hard for a pressure fighter to do that. I was speaking with John Murray a few months ago, who I would love to fight. it would be a good fight to with our styles. And he said that you have to preparre yourself to lose 3 out of the first 4. so against Long it was a mistake taking that fight, but take nothing away from Chris - he's a top lad and a credit to the sport. i also feel i lost the 2nd Allan fight, so i guess it evens its self out in the long run.
Hope your well, counter.

Nice one mate
Hopefully the Long fight will be more local, don't think I got the funds to get upto Scotland! Did manage to get up Liverpool recently for the Watson fight, felt you were unlucky again that night - as with the Lawton fight both I went back home and watched the fights n thought so even more. Hopefully you've had your run of bad luck now mate and you'll get back in the title mix
All the best

Good luck Martin. You're good to watch. It's a shame you were on the wrong end of 2 close decisions lately. I hope things come together and you get a chance to avenge them.
