OUR OWN BOXING TOURNEMENT

With the boxing world all abuzz over the forthcoming middleweight tourney, I thought I'd throw out a dream tourney featuring 6 fighters in the lightweight division;
Alexis Arguello
Manny Pacquiao
Julio Cesar Chavez
Salvador Sanchez (moving up in weight and let's add 3-4 years to his age to make this possible)
Roberto Duran
Shane Mosely
All fighters are considered as "in their prime".
Who wins and why?

p.s. if this tournement takes off, I'll chime in with my comments later.

Mouthwatering tournament that would be great viewing. I do feel that the inclusion of Duran makes the winner fairly easy to predict.
Sanchez is the wildcard.
Mosely has the speed to frustrate some of these guys but he liked to trade and that would probably be his undoing in some of these scraps.
Duran wins...after that i'm not really sure. I can't pick Sanchez as 2nd because I just don't know how he would be at this weight and age.
Moseley would be naturally bigger than Alexis, Chavez and Manny...in the end though if I had to stick my neck out I'd go for Chavez as runner-up...or maybe Arguello...

You should replace Sanchez with a legitimate Lightweight legend --- a Leonard, or a Whitaker. Mosley, also, doesn't belong (though I do feel his prime was as a Lightweight, rather than the Welterweight where most of his important achievements lay).

I thought about it afterwards and forgot about Whittaker but I wanted one fighter to move up in weight to simulate Arthur Abraham doing the same.
I don't really consider SRL as a lightweight. The bulk of his fights professionally was as a welterweight.

Maybe she meant Benny Leonard
Or Leonard Nimoy, perhaps.

Duran most likely wins the tournament but it would be an awesome tournament without question.

I was referring to Benny Leonard.

Eliminate Sanchez and add Henry Armstrong, Floyd Mayweather and Pernell Whitaker. That gives you eight in an even field of matchups for a tournament.
