Alexander doesn't seem to punch very hard, he is American and he holds the WBC title.

Is this a realistic comeback fight for Hatton?

I hope Alexander fights Bradley I think Alexander beats Hatton but HAtton beats Witter

Alexander proved himself on Saturday, say what you want about Witter but he's very fast, usually wins the first 5-6 against top contenders and is hard to hit clean, hard to counter and hard to outbox and Alexander was beating Witter at his own game, hurting him. Alexander looks very good technically, very strong, very fast and hits damn hard. I reckon he would have ko'd Witter if Junior didn't quit.

All these things makes me think Alexander is an excellent fighter and he'll stop Hatton if they fought. He's a better technical boxer than Ricky, better defensively and just as strong and hard hitting, plus he's faster and in his prime

Alexander and Bradley are future stars, well at least 1 of them will be

What sort of shape is hatton in at the min? has he gone all out attack on the ale and pies again?

After being massacred by Pacquio i was all for Hatton retiring there and then. But no champion likes to go out on a defeat, especially a 2 round demolition. I reckon the Bradley/Alexander fights are both very winnable for Hatton. In doing so he'd collect another two belts and regain his status as the man at 140lbs (excluding Pacquio who is floating around just now). He would restore a big part of his reputation that was damaged by his defeat to Mayweather and subsequent blow out by Pacquio. Its food for thought.

I think there is little doubt in most poeples minds that a peak Hatton would have dealt quite comfortably with both Bradley and Alexander, but the Hatton of today is not what he once was. The question is, does he still have enough left to beat Bradley/Alexander? I reckon probably so and think he should seriously consider doing so. By the end of this year he could be the man again at 140lbs and could retire with his pride restored, because lets face it, it must be hurting after that loss to Pacquio.

PS. i'm well aware Pacquio demolished Hatton at 140lbs, but the Pac-Man is weight hopping all over the place right now and i dont see him fighting at 140lbs again in the near future, that is assuming he beats Cotto. With that, i think its fair to say Timothy Bradley is the ruler of the 140lbs division.

Bradley and Alexander are both coming into their primes, very technically good, faster than Hatton, better boxers with better defenses and both are strong with good power. 1 or both could go on to be great and I see both stopping Hatton late on

I don't see anything in Bradley that Hatton wouldn't have beaten 3-4 years ago, and even now, I think provided he isn't actually shot physically, he still beats Bradley.

Alexander, young, hungry and a southpaw? Can't seeing this being a good fight for Hatton.
