It's that guy again who wants to turn into a woman....
but for crying out loud, surely there are more relevant things that could be reported on in british boxing? The site the article is on is, after all, a sports specialist site, not "Heat" magazine.
Shame that only pointless garbage such as this gets the media attention- it's been in the Sun, too.
I mean, if he was a half-decent pro, then fair enough, but his record is rubbish.

Anyone else think he looks like Gomez on the BoxRec front page?

That picture is actually Gomez, though i am sure many will make the same mistake, i doubt Gomez will be to pleased with that

The reason his picture is up there with this story is that the Sun newspaper reported that Gomez will fight Newbiggin next. I have no idea why, or even if its true, can anyone confirm?

That fight was supposed to happen a couple of weeks ago on an unlicenced card but Gomez never turned up apparently.

I've met Newbiggin once which was enough to tell me he's a bit of a tool. He also seems to be in the media in Southport a fair bit, like he's some sort of celebrity (he's definitely not).
All this sex-change talk is annoying now, i hope Gomez flops him.
... Or why don't you just do it Banjo?

Thats right it was Adam.
Most of us acted very grown up and mature and discussed it in a very civilised manner.
Without sounding like a grumpy bastard - the story is getting tedious.
And the more i think about the he-she's poor kids the more i realise what a selfish thing that's going on.
He-she has my sympathy, living in our society with this sort of thing is laughed / frowned at... but i'm sick of reading about it/him/her.

There has been stuff in the papers that he used to spar with Ricky Hatton, but that is nonsense. He sometimes uses Hatton's old Denton gym. He has sparred with Matthew Hatton who played with him.
I think he is fighting Gomez next week now
