Nothing on the listings, looks like the schedule for its wrong though as it says Mike Tyson's 5th pro fight should be on now but its Dutch footy.

saw world championship boxing on there earlier and wondered what it was.

espn seem like there taking a bit of notice.

seasons starts on the 15th and 9 quid a month is reasonable enough.

I just think it in poor taste to try and use a name wordplay to categorize the fighter. Ant, I'm certainly not having a go at you directly, but would you have chosen or been able to use such nomenclature at boxing monthly?

Junior's got no arse at all, has he? The fact that he couldn't lock his arm out and hence couldn't defend himself properly against a kid 13yrs his junior who had nearly dropped him already has got nowt to do with it.

Anyway, it was Dominic Ingle who pulled him out because he thought - perhaps contrary to your taste - that he'd rather an injured Junior live to fight another day than get KOd and finished for good when he had no chance of winning. There is no way in the world Dominic would have pulled Junior in a world title fight unless he felt there was no other safe option.

So does that make him a 'quitter' in the demeaning sense that you intend?

It seemed more like a 50-50 decision. The ref came over and gave him a warning. The the corner and Junior just seemed to say "yeah, thats it, stop" and Junior ran over to Devon's corner to tell him he had won. Junior certainly didn't put up any objections to it, either.

Add too that Junior was losing the fight badly.

Only applies to Virgin for some reason. It has been misreported in a few places that it is free for a month on both platforms.

If Witter was injured, and maybe he was. Then i'd have liked to see Dominic Ingle tell him i'll give you another round Junior to see if you can knock this guy out. We never saw a do or die effort from Witter to turn things around. He went out with a whimper and thats what folk will remember.

I agree. It almost seemed like a "moody" reaction to the referee's telling off.

But their call, at the end of the day.

he was holding coz he couldn't keep the other kid off and was taking some heavy shots! once it was obvious the ref was going to prevent him doing that, that made the decision coz they felt there was no other way out than to hold on and hope for a haymaker

i thought he was actually doing a bit better in the last 2 rds of the fight.

I'm on Virgin and had a look at the ESPN listings and there was no mention whatsoever of any boxing. They had some Premier League Classic and then Dutch football.

Anyone know what's up? (And don't say the f*king sky).
