The three popular candidates are Liston, Foreman and Tyson.
Liston was the most fearsome opponent of Ali according to Ali. Foreman was a stronger and bigger version of Liston , but Liston was faster and the better boxer. Tyson was very short for a heavyweight, but anyhow he had an impressive emission and body. He ist dountless the most feared boxer of his time. And when he was young he sometimes nearly knocked his opponents out of the ring. Some other candidates are the brutal Jack Demspey or the very hard hitting Joe Louis. Or is it no one of these 5 ?

I take it your list isn't considerate of pound-for-pound?
Throwing out vicious, smaller fellows, such as your Durans & Monzons, among others, I've always said I thought Dempsey was the most ferocious of the Heavyweight killers.
He wasn't the biggest, nor the strongest, the hardest-hitter, or the best finisher. I think he was more savage than any of them in his whirlwind assault, though.

Marciano was never malicious...but something about him always
saw him as a hunter-killer sort. He would take so much punishment
just to destroy his foe.

Unless you count being a routine fouler as malicious, which I would.

Dempsey
Ruthless, persistent and he'd break the rules when he could. Also one of the top 5 PFP punchers in boxing history.

Oh he was foul....
So was Ali with his antics...
Lewis with his...
Holyfield with his elements...
Marciano's fouls in my opinion were not intent to break the
rules, but were almost like he was in some zone to win..at
any cost :)
But yes he had a nasty side to him...

Based on that I guess Spadafora was one of the worst in this catagory, having not accomplished the goal he apparently set out to do.

Paul is actually one of the nicest guys Ive met in boxing. Its very hard for me to imagine him trying to kill anyone. Im not pretending to know what the ins and outs of his shooting situation were but I find it hard to believe his intention was to kill anyone.
