I just realised today that Main event are going to show the PPV between PBF and MArquez on the Tuesday following there fight. The card also has Katsidis and Chris John on the undercard.

I wrote a message to Main event on there website. I recommend that people take 5 minutes to tell them your views

I saw this during the fight where Roy "Captain Hook" Jones Jr dominated Jeff "Left Hook" Lacy. What a joke showing this on delay. Who the eff do they think will pay to see this two days after it happens!?! Best card in a long time and the gooses at Main Event won't show it live!?!

I will be emailing Mainevent yet again !!
No doubt they will charge full amount for this delayed telecast. If it isnt swapped to a live telecast I will not buy it, I ill source it from elsewhere. This is a bloddy disgrace...and an Aussie is on the card !!!!!!

Yeah I believe that is the case, but why the hell wouldnt they have a delayed telecast on the same day, after the live feed of the UFC. I understand they have contracts etc but this is bullshit.
I dont want to get into yet another debate over boxing v UFC but I would be surprised if this UFC event would do more buys than the super card which includes Katsidis and John (ppv's in Australia that is).

UFC 100 which was the biggest UFC event of the year was delayed in favour of a Darchinyan ppv. Maybe they figure the UFC with Randy Couture, one of the biggest ufc names, will book better live? Or maybe it's a tit-for-tat for live events (so to speak).

It could be the biggest name in high fashion for all I know. Still makes no sense.

Apparently it has something to do with Mayweather delaying the fight. And the UFC was already booked for that date. fornicate them i say. Im going to the Pub to watch it.

So it's going to be shown on Sky at pubs and clubs? I checked their site yesterday and no listing for this in the upcoming fights schedule.

Couture is not fighting on the card on this date. He is on 102 and 103 is clashing with the boxing.
Vitor Belfort v Rich Franklin is clashing with this super card............unbelievable!!!

Eff them alright. doubt very much any of the pubs up near Karratha will have it, so I will source it from elsewhere even if I dont see it for a week or so. No way I paying some bloody stupid main event price for something two days late !!!

Yes mate, I shot off an email last week and got this reply :

Due to technical reasons, the Main Event Channel can only show one Pay Per View event per day. In this instance Main Event has a previously scheduled event on Sunday, October 20 (UFC 103), so is unable to broadcast the Mayweather v Marquez fight which has been scheduled at the same time in the USA .

Main Event is only one channel and there are no other options to broadcast pay-per-view boxing on another channel. It is unfortunately current limitation of the service.

Knowing fight fans will still want to see the fight, Main Event will broadcast delayed coverage of the Mayweather v Marquez Event on Tuesday the 22nd, Wednesday the 23rd and Saturday the 26th. And as the fight will be on-delay, Foxtel, Austar and Optus are offering this fight at a reduced price – please check with your service provider.

Any idea on the "reduced price" Main event mention ??
And it can't be shown on the 21st because on the TNA wrestling....not even the bloody WWE, the TNA. What is the world coming to !!
