Who do you think would win in this fight. Huck is stronger and more powerful but can be outboxed whereas Afolabi is a decent boxer with a good chin and good fitness I see him outworking Huck and outboxing him I see a close UD/SD/MD for Afolabi

I think that Huck will outwork Afolabi and win the fight wide on points.

I think afolabi is strong, fit, as a good chin, and will be able to hold off huck long enough to drop that bomb of a right hand.

Is that right hand of Afloabi's even a bomb? Dropping Enzo doesn't prove it is. Afolabi was getting beaten fairly clearly by Enzo and spent way to much time doing nothing with his back on the ropes. He was also troubled by a 9-3-1 fighter prior to his upset win. Huck has shown improvement in his boxing ability, is a fairly good puncher, and has a very good chin, he was taking shot after shot from Cunningham and wouldn't go down and at no point did Ramirez hurt him. Both those guys hit as hard or harder than Afolabi. Huck has also mixed it up with a higher level of opposition and hasn't lost multiple rounds to Michael Simms, DeLeon Tinsley, Jonathon Young, etc.

I think Huck would outwork him and utilize his sharp combination punching to win a clear cut decision.

Assuming it's in Germany, as Huck wouldn't travel, Afolabi wouldn't be able to do enough for the decision, and I don't think he would knock out Huck.

Afolabi would have a chance, but I think the result would be a unanimous decision for Huck.

The slick, quality Steve Cunningham stopped Huck, it's worth remembering. Battered him after breaking him down.

But Afolabi doesn't seem as assertive as Cunningham. We'll have to see what Afolabi's like. I mean, does he always box that way, as many have noted that "sparring partner" style? Or was that just Ola coping with the situation ie being on his biggest stage?

Huck has a big promoter, and he could probably put this fight off - for a while.

I have seen him box a few times and he has always fought like that. Against DeLeon Tinsley he scored an early knockdown than just basically stopped throwing punches and let a subpar fighter make things competitive.

I think it was more of a tactic to lay back and let enzo do the work rather than him being out classed or beaten, everybody could see what he was doing apart from enzo lol.

He's definatley got a bomb of a right hand. If he can demonstrate some wider boxing skill i think he can take huck before the distance.

The problem with that strategy is that he gives away rounds and is banking on his opponent being stopped or hurt. Huck can take a punch unlike Enzo and I don't see him folding unless he receives a large amount of punishment. Afolabi isn't active enough to do that and his power is average. Huck was only 22 when he lost a competitive fight to Cunningham and he is only going to get better. He has shown some improvement in the technical aspects of his game lately. He is throwing straighter, putting his punches together nicely, and his defense is a little more polished. I think that will make it hard for the lethargic Afolabi to get through with enough meaningful punches to change the outcome of the fight.

I see Afolabi laying against the ropes or picking his spots too infrequently while Huck lets his hands go to win about 8 rounds.

yeh i could quite agree, but i think it will go the other way afolabi will show he's got more skill that suspected and huck will get caught by a big one and go down. if i was given a free bet i would put it on an afolabi ko, but i would put my own money on the line, for exactly the reasons you just said.
