I'm hearing this show is unlikely to happen. NFD. Whether it has something to do with Roy v Hopkins being in the works, not too sure.

They have been reporting in the media here. That they are trying to have it staged in Perth.

Yeah I think the money would be ok in Perth. The corwd would definately get behind it but we do not have an appropriate indoor stadium. Burswood is a crock and you would be too far from the ring, where as the Syd Ent Cent is perfect...if they want an indoor stadium.
If this fight happens would it have to be a day show or a late evening show to accomodate USA TV ?? A day show outdoors in Nov/Dec you are running a big risk regarding heat.
Regardless of Perth or Syd I think this will sell out. The money will be PPV which will be huge. The WA govt though, if history is anything to go by, will not assist this event in any way and it will be held in the east.
