Finally some regular boxing back on, haven't had a clue what to do with myself the last 8 weeks or so with no boxing on, should be a little cracker to kick the new season off!!

The only thing thats a bit <sigh> is the main event has pts all over it and the undercard doesnt set the pulse racing.

It's not that I cant be pleased, I just find a lot of friday fight night main events over the past 12 months seem to have pts written all over them from the outset - everyone loves a KO every now and again, dont they?
"Shamefully" (well thats how i feel now for speaking my mind) thats why I got a bit disinterested in Napas british reign. Pts win pts win pts win... looks good doing it, but sometimes the exctiment of a KO is nice.

my point is,i dont know who's going to win.that's why im looking forward to it

im looking forward to the new season after being bitterly disappointed with the last.From the previous posts on this thread i kinda agree with both its always great to see a slugfest and kos but points can be just as good.The only type of matchup i hate is seeing a top brit beating up an outclassed foreign import of which there has been too many lately for my liking

Fair comment, and I shall be watching*, so im not that fussed about the (potential) prospect of a distance affair. Im like a heroin addict searching for that Moore Jones, Armour Ampofo, Thompson Vuma friday fight night hit.

The Commonwealth belt has had some Friday Night stinkers last season but this is a quality match up and I'm really pleased to have it back.

Quality match Im looking forward to this and good to see FFN back! I've been lost without barely any boxing on.

It's a start to the boxing season so i'm happy with it. It's got a bit of history to the match up and it's hard to pick a winner, roll on more tv boxing.

I could've sworn Truscott and Simpson have boxed each other something like 1,348 times already. It seems like they meet at every Friday Fight Night these days.

This will be a very tough fight for both of them I see Truscott winning the earlier rounds then the mid rounds being Simpsons and the last few rounds close. It'll be a gruelling 12 rounder imo.

Simpson is limited but what tools he has he makes the most of them & fair play to him!!
