Mancunian 'gutted' by his Board-ordered withdrawal. I should be able to post the replacement up soon.

i didnt understand why they let him back after so long anyway hopefully its someone decent. maybe mcdermott he should have enough time to recover from the beating he'll get from tyson but another prospect will be better

Knee jerk reaction by the board, they have shafted poor Mike yet again

i think this is a smart move by the board because he did look really poor last friday and after such a look period out of the game, he doesnt look ready for prizefighter.

I really hope they dont replace him with Couser who some have suggested would be a good replacement.

and you think someone like Chisora over 6 rounds couldn't have inflicted more damage on Mike... yet the BBBoC wouldn't have had a problem with that (I don't think anyway).

i dont think he should be allowed to box full stop he hardly had a great career lost his
last 3 before he retired an drawn against a journey man and was also was knocked down

Have to say, seems a fair enough decision. If he's looked terrible against a hand picked journeyman who was brought over to give him a tune up then it's probably not wise for him to fight against more motivated opponents who have been active and especially a current British champ, over the hill as he may be.

Just to let you know, Johnny Wisch has gone to the Board with 3 potential replacements and is waiting for their approval. As soon as I know I'll post it.

lets be honest, the heavyweight division in this country is hardly awash with talent, so lets hope they can find someone active, in shape, who has some skills.

I'm about 215 - somehow doubt the board would approve an out of shape git like me.

Is Couser in the country?

Enzo Mac is scheduled to fight in October I think.
