McDermott—Fury: A suggestion, and a question

Suggestion: In my view, last night’s awful verdict adds to a case for stipulating that title fights should be scored by three judges. ONE referee (or judge—remember the judge who thought Froch was winning!) may get things wrong, but there’s less of a chance that TWO of the three judges will get things wrong, and deliver an unjust verdict.

Question: When it’s clear that the vast majority feel a referee or judge has made an awful decision, what happens? In last night’s case, can the Board make O’Connor watch a tape of the fight and give his rationale for scoring the rounds the way he did? Or is no action ever taken?

Of course, the British title used to be scored solely by the ref and they moved to three judges.

Its a terrible rule its hard enough being a ref on its on but judging it as well they should at least have 1 judge scoring there have been a few robberies due to this rule I hope it changes as this was a joke
