Gutted Power lost, he seems like a really nice bloke.

Guess this means Davies Power II won't happen...

I like Martin, he's a nice guy and nice boxer - he'll come again if he wants to.

Well done to Stuey - as a fellow Darlo lad, I'm pleased for him.

Saw his debut in the Engineers Club and he's improved a lot since then.

No, mate. Michael does have loads of brothers (including Allan who was a good am and pro) but Stuey isn't one of them.

Aye, both Michael and Allan should have gone much further than they did in the pro game. Michael was absolutely boxing Lenny Daws ears off before his fitness imploded.

Allan ended up doing some time then got a 'proper' job I believe. No idea what he's up to now.

Your being a bit previous mate, your bruv came back from 2 stoppage defeats against fellas short of Brit title level to actually win that title. Power needs to fight at his own weight

Well said Tommy,Power fought a super Bantam last night and you could see that Power was the more skillful and faster boxer but Hall was just too big and was taking Martin's shots and walking forward.I hope Martin doesn't retire because at his own weight,he be hard to beat (8st 4lbs).

I would like to repeat what Tommy said ''Your an arseHole''

i think the only way to settle this is davies power 2 at bantam for the british im gonna speak to gary personally and reccomend that if he beats napa then give martin a shot at the title im sure you all agree theres no other way 2 settle this good luck in future martin im sure you will be back mate

So, let me get this right. Because people of on here call you an a-hole your going speak to your brother and ask him to box Power, because some people disagree with you and say that Martin isn't over the hill?????

For what its worth I quite like watching your brother box and enjoy his fights, and because of the power he carried down to Bantam, I think he is a real force at the weight. But.... you are making people hate him by saying some of the things you say on here, Lets get this straight, Your brother aint no second coming of Ali, so don't act like he is.

That said.......I hope Martin can get back on track. Think it may be better for him to drop to Super-Fly, I think he beats Haskins and Broadhurst tomorrow.

I thought Hall was excellent and will be a handful for plenty at British level.

Power looked one step from Earl to me.

Tired, old and worn-out.

Hall anounced himself as valid British title contender following that excellent win.

He should at least get an English title crack next. Brilliant performance, excellent win.

I don't think it'd be wise for Power to try and come again. He's never been a world beater and is now getting stopped below British title level. He'll never contend for a Brit title again, and is now a stepping stone for up and comers. He's always taken too much punishment and its caught him up. Time to walk away.
