thanks for posting this. thornton seemed like a good guy and was a decent fighter. after he lost to jones, thornton went to the post-fight conference. a reporter asked him what advice he would give to any up and coming fighters who would have to face jones. thornton replied, "stay away from him." good sense of humor even in a painful moment for him. rip champ.
