i think mick hennesey has held talks with three tv companies for the froch fight. I can only presume it will be espn, sky and maybe 5.

On a similar theme I noticed Secondsout TV are picking up a few regional shows - Jane Couch, Carl Greaves etc. Don't think I'll pay £7 to watch them though

Don't Sky usually show the Klitschko's fights? I remember staying up on numerous occasions to watch 9/10 rounds of jab/right hand followed by a much hyped prospect retiring on his stool. I've wasted too many sleeping hours on the Klitschkos. They will prob start advertising it after Marquez/Mayweather.
If the Froch fight isn't on TV it will be a joke! I wouldn't mind paying €25 to watch it on PPV as long as Artur Abraham/Taylor was on the show also. Sky should come up with a PPV package for the Super Middleweight Tournament, pay a certain amount a month and you get to see all the fights.

out of those four fights , i think we will be lucky to get cotto v pac and the froch fight. the klitschko fight is next week and there is not a word about it being shown.
i really hope we get the froch fight. i have my doubts we will get to see abraham v taylor on uk tv. the super six is the best thing to come along in ages and it looks like we will only get to see some fights out of it on tv , or even worse than that.
this rogan sexton debacle has not made my mood regarding boxing tv coverage any better.
sky do a good job normally with their domestic coverage. i think we have a friday fight night every week until the end of november which means there is no free date for the rogan fight. surely they could put the rogan fight on a saturday night. sky propably dont want it on a saturday due to their football first coverage. warren has said before that sky dont want boxing on saturday nights. sky dont have a problem with saturday boxing for khan though.
its the lack of action from the states that annoys me. its looking very likely that the mayweather fight and maybe the cotto fight will be the only american fights we see on normal sky from sept to dec.

The forum's very own Jon Pegg's show on Oct 3rd on too.
I'm a technophobe, basically I'd like to get these shows secondsout are showing but only if I can record them onto dvd (for my collection). How would I do that?

I just clicked on the Sky boxing schedule and saw "Super six' in an ad at the top
Alas I got all excited but it was just promoting a footy score prediction game of the same name. :x

There is no way we wont get Cotto Pacquiao. It has sky PPV written all over it.

You'd think so, but Haye's on PPV the week before. I don't think they've ever had PPVs on consecutive weekends. It could be fight of the year, so I really hope they show it - and live, not the following Friday. I think it's some time, though, since Sky showed a Top Rank bill, as Setanta had the deal with them recently.

Run the PC through your TV I would expect. Get a VGA cable and try to get the DVD hooked up to record off that output. Easier said than done - I've tried!

Glad I got tix to the Froch fight, if it becomes a farce like the last fight did then I couldn't imagine the prospect of having to stream the fight again and then it crashing on me at the vital moment.
