How could we forget Pat Sheehan's remarkable 'scoop' about Hamed and Ingle being back together - the Sun were really caught with their pants down, with Sheehan's arse pointing right at the sky.

The Sun is terrible. And everytime I mention that, everyone says "oh, I knoooooow."

Yet it's the biggest selling newspaper in the UK.

What a fcuking bunch of losers we Brits are.

I don't read any newspaper that has a picture of the coin you need to buy it on it's cover.

Though I suppose that shows they know their readership.

I don't read papers, load of shite, all play to their own political crowd.

Left-wing, right-wing, liberal sissies, pro-gay, feminazis, eco-nazis etc. you name it they follow it.

yesterday's Daily Mirror carried the most ridiculously pathetic headline I've seen recently....

it was along the lines of:........Mystery accused Jordan rapist denies rape.....I think they carried a blacked out silhouette of a generic human being to support the story.

I mean, what a load of complete and utter sh*t. B*tch cries rape, but doesn't wish to talk about it she told OK magazine, not worthy of telling the Police at the time, and now a person we don't know the name of denies it.

What a complete trollop. Some mug of a chief editor approved that headline as well. I've noticed a lot of complete bonkers crap in the Mirror lately, I bought it once or twice on holiday lately.

I think it was also them that lazily put Prescott knocked out Khan last October when I watched it live, on holiday, in bloody September. Pathetic.

As I said before:

It amazes me how people can be so against a particular newspaper like The Sun. True a lot of what they print is sensationalist, scaremongering and often simply false, however most of the so called "respectable" papers are exactly the same except they run their stories against a thesaurus before printing it. Do you think the owners of many of the broadsheets don't have agendas that they push in their editorials and that Murdoch is the only one doing this?

The Sun has far better sports coverage than a lot of broadsheets and they make no pretense of being anything other than a quick read for a low price. If I want to read an intelligent debate on the economy then im not going to buy The Sun. If I want to improve my vocabulary then I will read a book. If however I want to find out the football scores and read a few transfer rumours in the ten minutes I have spare in the evenings then why shouldn't I read the Sun?

As long as you are aware what you are reading then read whatever the hell you want.

i read the sun from time to time cos you can flit over the stories and whilst far from thick, uninterested or uninformed about more important matters i find reading about bungling thieves, bungling government officials, corruption, liars, frauds , real life stories etc...more interesting than a 1000 word essay on the economy.
A massive amount of what's in newspapers , of any high brow/ low brow/ sh*te etc...is not important or worth knowing, solely because it is in a newspaper.

Which papers are pro-gay?

Are you sure you're picking your printed media from the right shelf?

I hate to sound like some kind of uncouth misogynist, but looking at the young female creature on the bottom right hand corner of that Sun front page makes me happy I moved to Russia.

In fact, whenever I get homesick, or tired of Russian bureaucracy, I just have a quick look at the Sun website. It depresses the fcuk out of me and makes me feel happy I don't have to share a land mass with the likes of Maissie's parents.

If you cant believe what is written, and you cant, its not worth buying. Having said that all of the tabloids are the same. Twice I have been reported in the Sun. I was misquoted, ridiculed and on both occasions the stories were completely distorted. On one occasion the true story was reported in a local newspaper and written very well. Then the Sun took over and it became one big piss take. Not satisfied with that the News of the World went even further and not one single fact was true. On the other occasion I was tracked down by a Sun reporter. He seemed a decent bloke and he phoned through my exact words to London. Obviously they were too boring, not sensational enough, so they deliberately misquoted me. Its upsetting when people think you actually said what the Sun printed. A radio station on the other hand covered the same story and did a 100% job and allowed me a five minute interview.

I don't buy printed media unless it contains boobs and bikes.

As for which papers are pro-gay? Probably most of them, I actually made a mistake when I said I don't read papers, I meant I don't buy them and when I do read them whether it's a tabloid or a broadsheet I take every single thing written in them with a pinch of salt but anyway you always see these gay rights protests and whatnot in papers and other media.

I don't mind lesbians but poofters disgust me. :DD

Pat Sheehan and more so Colin Hart - are probably two of the most experienced followers of boxing who actually know the least
It amazes me that somebody who has been priveliged enough to have been around boxing so close and for so many years can be ignorant enough to know so very little of the sport as Hart continually demonstrates. facts have never seemed to make any difference to what Hart already knows :-?
