A good fight for both fighters for which both will learn valuable experience from the contest

Considering the form of both fighters of late i would have to go with

Mate i really wanted to go to this, the card last week was exceptional but guys like La porto, Leuveni and the cyclone all pulled out, and with the fact that i'm currently changing jobs couldn't justify squeezing a 100 bucks for the ticket and a couple of extra zero's for piss.

I'm kind of local and rather enjoy Di carlo's work/cards, so it's disappointing....besides i should probably start saving for green/jones.

Hey Colin, i hope this isn't too nosey mate but you seem to have a fair bit of knowledge on the up and comers, especially the ones in the best state of Australia(QLD for those who failed to spell their name on an IQ test) D.

I don't know, kirby was in a war with nathan briggs, he took a lot of hard shots and it probably isn't the 1st time he has been in a war, so you have to question has that taken anything out of him and has he ever fought someone with solomons power, don't know who will win, too hard to say

kirby will win, and win well. despite haumono's recent performances, with him not performing well, he'll be up for this one. johnny lewis will make sure of that, but kirby will win.he's a hungrier fighter with big dreams. in saying that, if he wins impressively, people will be saying that he fought a shot fighter.i hope that after he beats haumono, he can fight a couple more of the top heavyweights we got here, then move on to bigger and better things on the world stage. it won't be long before people will be sitting up and taking notice of michael. hopefully with the exposure he gets from this fight, and him putting up a good performance, he'll be able to get sponsors on board thereby letting him train full time instead of breaking his back installing stairs and dealing with the general b.s that goes on in the building industry.if he's able to get sponsors,and train full time, you'll all see a much better fighter.

The longer the fight goes, the better the chance of Solo winning.

Kirby won't back down and Solo doesn't like blokes you fight back so I say Kirby stops him with constant pressure.

How good is it that a fighter like Kirby is willing to take on all comers

kirby will be right there in front of solo, very easy to hit him so i think solo by ko within 3. the longer it goes the better for kirby imo

Hounddawg cost of the fights at Mansfield Tavern $45 . Yea I have a son in the amatures and most of his mates are boxers too.

Solo, although spotting 10kgs to Kirby, has a tendency fight lazy and runs out of gas in his fights.

im not a HW fan..but based on Solo's last 3 fights he doesnt stand a chance! Kirby rd 5 ko! 8)

Not totally, that brett smith fight was good.

Angelo Hyder could not have been too impressed with the card.

Saw him congratulating Parramatta after the game at the SFS tonight.

Three rounds gone and Kirby looks a mess.

Early in the fifth and Kirby has been warned for four low blows.

Five rounds gone and I doubt Kirby has won a round.

Eight rounds gone. Kirby is still on a steady leather diet.

Referee stops the fight 21 seconds into the tenth round. Solo charged out at the start and laid into Kirby. Kirby was still on his feet but he was a chopping block.

He did not argue with the stoppage. Michael was out on his feet.
