Even though Valuev is very average, this is looking like it could be a Bowe/Hide type fight.

Look how hard John Ruiz worked coming forward to try and beat Valuev and still it wasn't enough. Haye cannot succeed where Ruiz failed.

As for the alternative, I think it's a hell of a lot to ask for Haye to win this with legwork and sharp counters for 12 rounds.

I guess I don't think our guy can win.

I wonder what Johnny Nelson's advice would be as to how to beat Valuev?

Haye is going to get very tired, very quickly IMO

Haye is more a danger than John Boring Ruiz

I agree though - Haye is gonna be fucked over 12 rounds - trying to keep that big oaf off him - energy sapping contest- can you imagine in the clinches when that guy leans down on him - Haye is going to run out of steam by the middle rounds

Haye is actually still quite a green / immature fighter as a professional

He has only had about 22 fights - (or something like that)

His fight with Monte Barret showed - he can be clumsy - and inexperienced - and has defentelty got stamnia / fatigue issues - and is fragile and hurt quite easily.

It also showed he has got heavy power - but we knew that already.

I cant believe the negativity. Haye has faster feet than todays holyfield, a bigger punch to keep valuev wary of coming in. y the stamina question? valuev is incredibly ponderous with a poor workrate. how will he tire Haye out?
