I have just read the new Sky magazine and there was a big piece about the Sexton Vs Rogan rematch !

I thought I would make a call to check the confusion and was told by a guy at Sky's head office that the fight WILL se shown on Sky Sports 1 on November 6th !!!

I am now really confused but am over the moon if this is now the case.

Anyone heard anything ?

From what I know and have read on this forum, Matchroom Sports had the deal with Sky to show McCloskey v M'Baye on the 6th of November before Rogan-Sexton fight was rescheduled for the 6th. On the FFN nights Sky advertise their coverage of McCloskey-M'Baye for the 6th and there is nothing about Rogan-Sexton.

It's a disgrace that two of Irelands biggest boxers have had their respective fights put on the same night. It's a shame they dont have the same promoter, what a card that would have been!

I can only guess that as Matchroom had the original date with Sky and as it's a European Title fight McCloskey-M'Baye will be shown live and there will be deferred coverage of Rogan-Sexton. But to be honest I dont know, feel sorry for all the fans who have to decide which fight they want to go see!!

Did Sky say anything to you about the McCloskey-M'Baye fight??

I hope Sky will do a double header like in the old days. Remember when Khaliq/Booth used to headline in Nottingham and there would also be a young Hatton in Manchester (non PPV).

I would be gutted if the McCloskey fight is scrapped.... its a good one also.

Mcluskey fight moved back to Nov 27 makes sense to me!

Move them to separate dates so we fight fans can attend both
