Well done I like fighters like him Delroy Spencer and Peter Buckley who test young prospects and never give up but my faviorite journeyman has to be Youssef Al-Hamidi who also won recently

Was in the corner and Sid got a fair shake off the ref and realy got stuck in he was so pleased after i think this may make life a bit harder for some prospects.

He (al-Hamidi) was knocked down, too, and lost a point for butting! Sounds like a top quality small hall fight.

Yes it was a good fight and Al Hamidi showed superior boxing skills. He fully deserved the decision.

p.s.

Sid Razak is my favourite journeyman and I'm absolutely chuffed that he won! :box:

To be fair it was a decent fight but scrappy after the mid-rounds, Saville got a nasty cut from an accidental headclash - which he's blaming for losing the fight, to be fair to him after that he did have to fight defensively (not best suited to his style) and lost on points. Not taking anything away from Al Hamidi though he did what he had to, remember the Murray fight?

As for the "journeymen" types, the Delroy Spencer's, Razak's, Al Hamidi's, Buckley's, Dunn's etc really are the unsung heroes of this sport. They deserve all the respect they get.

x2.

I'd love to see what he could with full notice at a proper weight over 10 rounds.

Razak's a tough son of a gun and deserves another win on his log for all his hard work against some top-class men. I did an interview with him on BBN (around June 2007) before he made his comeback and he was a lovely bloke, really positive about the game.

I thought he was unlucky to lose to Sergei Rozhakmens in his comeback fight.

Al Hamidi was a top, top class amateur. People forget. He should really be beating a lot of these guys. Tough fella.
