i think tyson will basically need to ko mcdermott in the re-match becuase everyone will remember the first fight between them.
In my eyes tyson will win but it will be another close contest. What are the odds for a tyson win?

What more can he do than that performance

Well we know what more he can do but will he be able to KO Fury

Bet the farms lads, Fury knocked McD mouthpiece out twice and had him fleeing for his life into the ropes and the gentle arms of the everluvvin' ref who has been savaged for saving McD's ample bacon from being deep fried.

Fury knows it, and more importantly McD knows he fled for his life, and won't be able to hide this time. Just pray the collective force of slack jaws hitting the floor when it happens doesn't set off an earthquake to spoil the festivities!

Thats an interesting angle... perhaps we have all got so caught up in the "McDermott was robbed" psyche that people are forgetting that Tyson looked the better man in that fight?

going on last saturdays performance,fury's power isnt going to improve.

Fury needs a trainer who will be strict with him and take no BS. I get the impression all these people around him telling him he is big puncher etc. has gone to his head somewhat. The fact of the matter is his conditioning is not what it should be, he throws "arm-punches" and lacks snap. That said he's still only a baby and has potential. I don't think people should right him off just yet - he's still somewhat a novice. I believe the McDermott experience will have done him the world of good. With the right trainer and right attitude he could improve dramatically - he just needs to stop believing in his own hype a bit. I'll take Tyson in the rematch - by stoppage. McDermott's best chance was last time out - hopefully Fury will only get better from here on in.

My reason is that i think he will now realize what he needs to do to win and will come up with the right tactics to do this , maybe he underestimated John in the first one.

i cant see Mcdermott producing another performance like that

I hope Mcdermott gets right in about him again though and gets the victory.

i just feel he has had his best chance of that stolen though.

should still be a good fight and the build up should be good

Maybe if Fury stops fixing his hair inbetween getting punched then he would have done much more to convince the majority that he was the better man,

although seems the Ref sees it different.

Is it psychological? Had McDermott been given the verdict, become English champion, and been rematched with Fury, would people still say Fury was the 1/2 favourite?
