Should be a very intresting fight I think Pavlik will be too strong for him as Williams is used to being the bigger man in height and strenght he struggled with Margirito's strength and fitness and I think Pavlik is stronger and is also very fit I see a close but clear UD for Kelly Pavlik it would be amazing if Williams won

Pick em' fight. How will tall Paul cope with not towering over an opponent? How will Pavlik cope with Williams speed and work rate? And how will Williams cope with Pavlik's power?
I'm glad that Kelly is taking this and not Sergio Mora which was first mooted before his injury. Boxing needs more fights like this. Pavlik also gets a chance to remove the bad taste from his horrendous display against Hopkins. Good stuff.

Yep, I'm leaning towards this outcome as well, though I wouldn't be amazed if Williams won given Hopkins exposed Pavlik's limitations for all to see and Kelly's lifestyle has also been questionable lately.
I think Williams is a freak at Welter and a big, powerful light-middle, but he won't have those physical advantages at middle. We also don't know how he'll cope with being hit on the chin by a big middle with genuine KO power.
However, he could outbox Pavlik though as he's better technically.

Cannot see anything other than a wide UD for Williams.

Williams won the Margarito fight with his 12th round effort imo, but I feel he has improved quite a bit since then.

50/50, great matchup

i can see a close points win for willams be a good fight and if sky get it to go with the khan fight will make it more appealing

Williams won`t have size and reach advantage which he would probably need against such a brutal strong puncher as Pavlik.

I`d lean towards Pavlik to outwork and bully him to win on points .. after looking his usual slow and pedestrian in the first 4rnds of course.

funny that this thread was started - "on again" - the day that it became OFF AGAIN.

pavlik is a liability. he's already been made to look a fool. now he's a liability for promoters and for HBO.

he should do the decent thing and vacate
