MGM ADVICE AND PAC/COTTO TICKETS

Guys been to vegas before for boxing but 10 years ago for Holyfield/Lewis.

Thinking of going to Pac/Cotto if my mate can raise some funds

Flights and Hotel seems straighforward enough but could someone tell me what is the view like at the MGM and anyone got a good source for tickets.

Any advice is welcome

I'm a good source (Jon from Queensbury Travel). I've been to the MGM Grand quite a few times and the view from anywhere is good bar perhaps the furthest 30 or so rows in the upper tier. There are also corner upper tier sections which are further back than anywhere else which should be avoided. The MGM is similar in size and design to the MEN Arena with it's steep sides so you are looking down at the ring from the cheap seats rather than being a long way away.

The box office sold out quite a while ago and i don't think they're holding any back for sale later. I can get them through some trusted sources for over face value but the cheapest way to get hold of them now would be to hang around outside the arena until just before the main event starts then haggle hard with one of the many touts. You could get them for less than face value.

You'll miss the undercard and you risk getting nothing but the touts will certainly be out in force.

pm me if you want prices.

if you're paying all that money to go all that way pay the little bit extra for security and have the tickets in hand.

I went to Hatton Mayweather, and mirror what John said, views are pretty damned good.

You can still get them from www.ticketmaster.com

Someone is now coming with me and got his over the weekend from there. You have to collect them from the MGM Box Office on the day though.

Thats just a case of taking the booking credit card and your passport to a booth at the back of the MGm isnt it... has to be the booking card though, incase you were going to get your mum to put it on hers.

Been more times than Wales has dressed in stockings and always say get no further back than the lower part of upper tier.

Unless you have go-go-gadget eyes, any further back is a waste of your time.

Also, 2 sides are further back (L22 is one if memory serves) than the other 2 to facilitate journalists and comps. So their upper tier is even further back.

I managed to register with Top Rank for a pre-sale but found out when i logged on that blocks L14 to L10, M14 to M10, L11 to L15 and M11 to M15 were already sold out to comps etc etc.

Can anybody who has previously confirm what the views are like from the yellow sections on Emerson's posted plan

L22 to 24 and 1 to 3 are the worst ends as the ring is further, but I was in 22 and it was okay. But I find U12 or 13 are the best value for money.

Between 18 and 22 is where the VIPs come out, so you should have some fun star spotting.

Angelina Jolie was splattering distance away.
