Warren on Audley

This is from Sky Sports.... what you would expect from him, much of it fair though.
Chisora - Audley eh? Perhaps fighting for a popularity title
allegedly has lashed out at Prizefighter winner Audley Harrison, saying he must be in 'living in dreamland' if he thinks he can earn a world title fight on the back of Friday's success.
Harrison achieved a manner of redemption as he won three fights in a row to claim the Prizefighter III crown in London on Friday, and 'A-Force' said afterwards that he wants to go on and fight for a world title.
Harrison has not been shy in attacking Warren and others he has been associated with, saying that there was a deliberate attempt to prevent him from achieving his goal of becoming world heavyweight champion.
The 2000 Olympic gold medallist says that others are to blame for his lack of success as a professional, but Warren hit back at the 37-year-old.
"Audley Harrison has one person to blame for his career and that's him, and that's a fact of life," Warren told Sky Sports News.
Gold medal
"He came in with that 2000 gold medal from the Sydney games with an absolute blaze of publicity and it all went downhill and it's down to him and nobody else."
Harrison now plans to go on and fight for a world title, but Warren rubbished his chances on the back of a Prizefighter win.
"He won the Prizefighter which was very exciting to watch, but let's get real about it," added Warren.
"Danny Williams was knocked over in the first round, and we knew he was shot going into that and he looked like a shot fighter.
"Audley beat three novices. In the first one-and-a-half rounds of that fight (the final against Coleman Barrett) he was backing off and blinking against a novice, a total novice.
Get real
"Get real everybody, if they think he's going to win a world title on the back of that they must be living in dream land."
Warren feels Harrison needs to prove himself against the best British heavyweights first, including the unbeaten Derek Chisora, before he can begin thinking about a world title.
"Fight Derek Chisora next, fight one of the legitimate British guys.
"These guys (Prizefighters) were in there trying to make a name for themselves, all hardworking and dedicated professionals, but you know what they are, they're all novice fighters.
"So Audley Harrison, do me a favour."

he's right isnt he, the talent in Prizefighter was poor and none of those fighters involved are British title level at the moment.
Williams came in to it as the champion but he was awful and will retire now.
Chisora v Harrison would be a crap fight in my opinion, I would watch it but I couldnt give a monkeys who wins.

I agree with him beating 3 reletively unknown names to win it if he beat them 3 in proper fights nobody would care. He cant fight under pressure and most of the top 10 HW's are pressure fighters

Audley didn't say he was going to get a world title shot solely off the back of his prizefighter win, that's a ridiculous notion that Warren has dreamt up.
Audley was strugglling to get any type of fight before Friday night, but off the back of his prizefighter win and his association with the Hearns he should now be able to get back into the British title mix, then IF he wins the British title he'll be looking at a European title shot and then......
There's a very long way to go, but Audley is still plugging away at achieving his goals and his Prizefighter win was just the first obstacle on his way back

He may go straight to Euro title as Matchroom promote the vacant fight. Or he could fight for British before!

He is damn right about the "Audley has no one to blame other than himself" line.
Audley has that increasingly common disease - "blame every fornicator but yourself"

Sexton won pf by beating novice Chris Burton, journey man Luke Simpkin and a just as shot as Danny Williams Pele Reid. In his fight after next he won the commonwealth title. This was against another pf winner Martin Rogan. Rogan had beaten Alex Ibbs, David Dolan and Dave Feguson to win pf, who had 16 fights between the three of them. His fight after next was for the commonwealth and bar a technicality would have been for the Euro belt too.
Point is it is a good move for Aud, just as it was for Fwanks very own Sam Sexton.

Audley's only chance of winning a world heavyweight title is dressing up in a black outfit, and catburgling Vitali Klitchsko's house.

Even then he would stand outside the house for an eternity, staring at it and looking petrified, waiting for the right time to strike.

Funny stuff lads
Frank is certainly right i'm afraid.
Furthermore Audley already lost to the winner of the other prizefighter.
So he's not even 'champion of the Prizefighter fighters' !

I think Frank talks quite a lot of sense most of the time I just think he gets very sour about other fighters that's not his and especially people who left his promotions.
If Audley was to fight either Fury, McDermott, Chisora, Sexton or Rogan he would probably lose. This isn't to say that he didn't impress on the Prizefighter because he did but although the names were well known it wasn't as high quality as other Prizefighters.
I think his next step should be Fury, so it would give him a go at a title again and it will give Fury a fighter that he wants, this would be a bit of a wait though because of Furys fight commitments so Chisora would be a good next step.

Franks correct, but I remember his words being slightly different when Audley anhilated Danny Williams. Remember him saying Audley would win a world title then... I wonder why.
The same Danny Williams who a couple of years previous he said he wanted to see retired, but then after said he was worthy of a world title shot again!

Yes, but if he still promoted Audley and/or promoted the PF concept, he'd be firmly "on the train" right now!

Is Chisora a Warren fighter?

I think warren talks some crap sometime he was just annoyed audley had been badmouthing him. Audley didnt say he thought he was going to get a world title fight yet, he said he thought winning prizefighter would open some doors for him to get his career moving again with some legitimate fights.
David Haye spoke the most sense after the tournament, he said, if audley can get in the mix and beat guys like fury and mcdermott he will get a shot at the british title which if he wins can then lead to big international fights.
I wouldnt argue about that.

I know he has his haters, but looking forward to Wazza's book.
Big Ord being Haye's first defence would'nt be a surprise.
