What happens?
Can 'Enery find a path to victory, or do we have another lights out, Bodell style victory by the Bellfower Bomber?
My crystal ball says Jerry finds the light switch by rd 5.

I see Quarry winning by late stoppage. He lands his right hand nicely
all night long. Henry hammers his jab and hook home, but it is not
enough.
A good fight for Jerry.

I have to believe Quarry would've been too strong for him. Cooper never really showed me he could deal with someone as capable as a peak Quarry, who was unfortunate to come around when he did. He could box, he could counter-punch, slug, take a shot (though his chin, for mine, is over-rated) made his share of tactical errors, sure, but so did Cooper, who hadn't the same talents, or, truth be told, fire in the belly.
Quarry stops him late-on in a reasonably competitive affair. I can see some success for the more measured Cooper.

In one of his books, Henry tells that they would never accept Quarry as an opponent because he was a short man. Late in his career Henry had a much better chance of landing his left hook on a taller opponent. He uses the example of taking on a short man like Floyd Patterson as proof of bad matchmaking for him.

Randy Neuman agreed....and Wrote a song about 'em....
Short people got no reason
Short people got no reason
Short people got no reason
To live
They got little hands
Little eyes
They walk around
Tellin' great big lies
They got little noses
And tiny little teeth
They wear platform shoes
On their nasty little feet
Well, I don't want no short people
Don't want no short people
Don't want no short people
`Round here
Short people are just the same
As you and I
(A fool such as I)
All men are brothers
Until the day they die
(It's a wonderful world)
Short people got nobody
Short people got nobody
Short people got nobody
To love
They got little baby legs
That stand so low
You got to pick em up
Just to say hello
They got little cars
That go beep, beep, beep
They got little voices
Goin' peep, peep, peep
They got grubby little fingers
And dirty little minds
They're gonna get you every time
Well, I don't want no short people
Don't want no short people
Don't want no short people
'Round here

This is some thing alot of people over look. I personally have found short,
active guys are a night mare to deal with. They offer a smaller target, while
you present a bigger target to them. This is one of the strengths of a Tyson,
Tua, Qawi etc.
I think Quarry's right hand would have been landing a lot as a counter and a
lead against Cooper, and followed up with his left hook, it would cause Henry
a lot of trouble.

I was listening to that song the other morning on the way to work.
Interesting coincidence ! I have a Newman CD, and dug it up
and dusted it off.

Hard to punch down at the shorter guy.
Guess that is another reason why uppercuts from the right guy can be so effective on the short, active guy.
Frazier = quintessential short, active guy against Ali in the FOTC.
p.s. Didn't check any records, but Quarry didn't seem to be a short guy to me.

I see Quarry's right cross as the finisher against Henry, just as in the Bodell fight, but not nearly as quick.
Patterson finished Cooper with a right as well.
