McCracken has taken him on hasnt he? I'd stay with Rob and learn to jab peoples heads off, then Manny may take him....

Didn't he train Lewis at one point? I'm not comparing the 2 but if he can make him fight a little like Lewis he can go far in my opinion. For example, if he stays behind the jab and uses his size he will win a lot of fights. It might not be an entertaining style but it'd be effective.

Steward should be able to teach him how to punch with real power, and how to use his size effectively.

I think Tyson's style would work well with Manny, Manny likes aggression and punch power in his fighters. He will get Tyson to use his feet properly and get set to throw his shots.

Perhaps Manny sees potential in Fury and just fancies it.

Manny usually insists on managing as well these days.

I thought he just went to McCracken but Steward would be good for him he's a big Heavyweight and Manny will get him to use that and sit down on his shots more I dont want him to go over to the States and fight all there fighters because there are a few good domestic fights still left for him over here

Really, how far has Fury got the potential to rise? I'm not sure so very far. Anyway, if the offer from Steward is there, and I was Fury, I would already be on a plane speaking with a Detroit accent.

Exactly and its not like we're saying Tyson is the second coming of Joe Louis or anything, but give the lad a chance! He's still a baby with limited amateur experience. And good point about Hearns too - by all accounts Hearns was a light-puncher in the amateurs but under Stewards tutelage he learnt how to punch a bit! Just a bit of course!

Second, Tyson isn't good enough if you're going to compare him, as your friend did, to the younger Klitschko and Lewis. Fury clearly hasn't got their talent.

But in the current climate, with fuckin' audley prob getting a shot at the euro, I would rule tyson out at 21.

Also, its worth pointing out, it was only 3 fights ago Vlad was "a accident waiting to happen", almost a figure of fun in the heavies. Now (under steward) hes considered the superior bro by many. shows how it can all change.

If you guys think that Tyson has it in him to be as good as either Klitschko, I would think I'm on pretty safe ground to suggest that you're pretty poor judges of talent.

Someone like McCracken will be good for him.

I'd mentioned Woodhall, as Woodhall had a great jab, nice orthodox defence and at 6-8, Tyson will get a fair way with those alone.

But McCracken is a very safe pair of hands.
