Hey Alex
good to see a young Amateur boxer posting on here
I dont think you should worry too much as its only your 7th fight so i'd say just keep training and learning and hopefully you'll develop further.
If i did have a criticism i'd say your swinging your punches too much and falling into your opponent so if you keep doing that your gonna get KTFO eventually.
I wouldn't rush in so much with your punches, find your range, distance and timing with your jab first, thats probably the most important tool you have in boxing and everything else will follow behind a good jab as you can than set your opponent up for a straight right hand, hooks, uppercuts, combinations etc...
Infact i'd do alot of sparring where you only use jabs so you become comfortable using it and understand how important it is.
anyways hope this helps a bit and keep up the good work.

Cheers that's what my trainers have been saying use my jab and bring in combo's from the middle of the ring as im big for my weight. The boy I fought was akward he was southpal and held when I got inside. At the moment im 4-3 but I've fought the Scottish champ at my weight twice losing the 1st one on a split decision

Alex, my advice to you is that you're doing everything wrong.
The appropriate response to anyone offering constructive criticism over the internet is to call them MUHFUKKKKIN FAGGIT, say they are "haters" and call them out for a street fight, or better yet issue death threats.
Good luck!

Alex i thought that was impressive for just your 7th fight, ur obv on the right path.
i would say dont just "paw" your jab out as a range finder for your cross. snap it out! )and try to return it along the same line, but twice as fast as you throw it)! its a useful tool in its own right, damaging and confusing and a useful defense. I think most would agree its prob the most important punch to practise at this (or maybe any) stage.
Like this :
keep it up and let us know ur progress.

Well done Alex, your footwork was pretty impressive and for the most part allowed you to stay out of range when your opponent was on the attack. Hands up nice and high as well most of the time. You also didn't panick when your opponent went onl the attack quite wildly in rd 2.
Straight right was working well, as was your left hook and as the others have said the jab needs to become stiffer and less of a range finder for the right.
Well done pal

(LOL at Eric Guy...)

Are you 14? I always had you down as older - I pictured you like Cameron Stout off 'Big Brother'
I can't see your video as I am living in China and all video sites are banned!
I will do once I get a proxy!

i echo what the rest have said alex you look to be coming along nicely mate
you're moving in an out of range nicely (especially rd1), i like how you are able to go forward and then take a step back, avoid punches and counter, some nice skills fella
watch when you throw your 1-2, sometimes you look to be bringing the right hand upwards a lot and then down, try keeping it straighter. when you're in close that kid was leaning over a bit with his arms over the top, he was giving you the right hand to the stomach if you looked for it. i thought you did better in the first round with a lower pace than when it got a bit hectici n the second round, when the kid was swinging a bit you took a few shots, he was swinging quite wide shots which you'll see a lot at that level so try banging the straight shots through his arms mate
keep it up and keep us posted alex
