For all of you who are pickingTaylor to beat the Abraham ..."you got to be kidding me".i guess you all forgot that Taylor has no chin..its been proven over and over ..and now he has to confront the hardest puncher...he has got but one place to go and thats is down and out for the count ..SORRY! .... :OhYes: :OhYes: this is the easiest fight of the 3.

i go for abraham but i think taylor will box well, early on.

taylor says there is no pressure, that the pressure's on abraham. i disagree with JT. JT will be in bad shape if he loses, and he could get hurt by a very hard puncher.

i believe he has a chin its his stamina thats the problem hes never prepared to go 12 rounds

This is hardly going to be a fast paced encounter as I don't believe either man has particularly great stamina; Abraham never fights for three minutes of a round and Taylor blows up late on.

On a similar subject, will we be getting any undercard action on Saturday night? Enad Licina V Yoan Pablo Hernandez could be a great little scrap.

Taylor might beat Abraham because Abraham is a bit of a lazy slow lethargic type

I really wouldn't be surprised if Taylor won this as AA is lazy and doesnt work his opponants hard so Taylor will be able to fight at his pace and use his speed and reach to outbox him but I'm picking AA to be too strong and powerful and stop him late. It's a very good matchup that could go either way imo

i think aa is a bit deceptive. better than he looks, and i think he will show it with a commanding display. boxing is 12 rds and he'll win within this distance.

you don't really need to fight 3 mins a round when you can knock shiit out of someone with a few well placed shots. granted, aa will have to work hard, will have to break taylor down. aa will do it. it surprises me hwo ppl still rate taylor. taylor is always supposed to win. but the bigger the opponent, or the bigger the puncher, the more trouble he is in.

best thing for taylor is that when he loses, he will get another chance dure to tournament format.

taylor's had his time, he milked it, he used it all up.

to be fair AA is looking a bit small in this tournament.

I think Taylor will outbox him for most of
the rounds and should get the decision.... but
in germany probably won't. !! :shame:

I think thats the most unlikely outcome, the only way taylor will win is if AA doesnt have enough power SMW and ends up getting ko'd otherwise he will outbox taylor with ease all night long.

Taylor's got a chin, he just fades late in fights whenever he's got a powerful opponent who throws 80+ punches per round. Abraham has less than half the workrate of Pavlik or Froch, so I don't see him wearing down Taylor. Also, the fact that he's such a slow starter, isn't too agile, and is almost 4 inches shorter than everyone else in the tourney leads me to believe he won't be faring too well at all. Taylor in a UD upset! (This is assuming Showtime is the one assigning the judges, as they should given the international flavor of this tourney. There should be 1 judge from the US, 1 from Germany, and 1 from either Denmark or the UK for the Abraham/Taylor bout. It's only fair.)

Why would all of these undefeated fighters participate in a tourney like this one if they were aware that they'd have to travel abroad and face the risk of being stiffed by homer judges? Surely Showtime is involved in the appointing of the judges! Otherwise Kessler himself may run into trouble when he treks to America to fight Andre Ward. (I see Ward as being the weak link in this tourney, but I also think Kessler's power is overrated and I anticipate t this fight to go the full 12.)

Nah kessler may not have massive one punch power but his one twos are accurate and seriously deadly, he's too seasoned for ward. The only way he will loose is if Joe Cortez is ref and theres 3 american judges.

Taylor may well take the first few rounds, but at some point Abraham will catch him. Abraham will win this inside 10, for me. He may look lazy. I prefer to think of him as economical.

Who is the overall promoter for this? It's the promoter who normally lobbies for the appointment of judges, or objects to certain judges.

abraham has had lots of world title fights, has excellent experience, and this will help him a lot when he finally makes the big step up. he's seen all kinds of styles and he has knocked out tall boxers before.

look at abraham's sole fight at super middle: smashed up miranda without even landing his hardest shots. ward didn't exactly show that kind of dominance v miranda.

i don't care how tall he is. he is compact and powerful. his shots are deadly accurate - considerably more accurate than froch or pavlik. he looks like he's doing nothing, but is hard to hit and often he suddenly pounces on the opponent.

i will be hugely disappointed if he doesn't batter taylor.

i agree with barn

AA is often inactiv e but the activity comes in explosive spurts and i expect these spurts to have enough effect on Taylor

AA will be chasing him down (well, chasing may be exaggerating, he'll be following him...) behind the high guard, Taylor wastes energy punching off the guard and using as much of the ring as possible, sooner or later its lights-out IMO

for me the bigger question is how abraham will cope with the strength, how he will handle pressure of strong super middleweights like froch.

Froch is going to have a problem beating Dirrel..dealing with his speed....and Froch doesnt have the punching power that Abraham has he has got to fight Abraham from a distance to have a chance..if Abraham gets inside Froch is in trouble ..Froch has a lot of heart but he will need more with these..but i picked Dirrell to beat down the big heart of Froch @ his speed and talent.

There's 5 promoters involved altogether, and they all get a shot at promoting their particular fighters home fight. Abraham and Froch's team have the gigs this w/end.

The interesting part will be the proposed third phase fights..supposedly on neutral territory. Joint-Promotions to come into play??

aye, but as open as froch is, and as poor as he is on the inside, i wouldn't be all that surprised if AA KTFO'd him. yourself?

the more i think about it the harder it is for me to choose a winner if taylor has really sorted his stamina problem out abraham is fooked but im not certain he has and if he hasnt he will be KO'd

Would love to see Taylor win this but reckon Arthur will catch him flush at some point and that'll be that.
