Danny Williams' Greatest Hits

As it looks like Danny Williams is retiring, here's a piece on my 10 favourite Williams moments:

http://uk.fight hype.com/2009/10/11/danny-williams-greatest-hits/ (remove the space between the "figth" and the "hype")

Anything you'd change there?

To be fair, I could just as easily have done a "10 worst moments" too, but I think it's more appropriate to pay tribute to a guy who had his faults but whose courage could never be questioned - and even at the worst of times, was always compelling viewing. You just never knew what was going to happen with Williams.

A young lad i know called danners has actually got a fan site for Danny Williams, hidden in the bowels of the internet.

He's done a decent job and has put together a few best-of clips of Williams together.

Apparently Audley is a member too.. !

It sure would. Maybe a few years down the line, comfortably retired, he can reflect on things with clarity and it will be fascinating to hear his candid views about his psyche, his conditioning, and of course the good points.

I've looked on the site - it's well done and a good tribute to the big fella. As for Audley being on it, I'm a bit suspicious about that, as the comments he made were absolute drivel and very badly written. Audley does have a degree from university, and I've never heard him speak like the way he writes, so i'm of the opinion that it's not Audley but someone who just doesn't like Danny.

The greatest hit of Danny Williams' career was when he swallowed a left hook from Albert Sosnowski in November 2008.
