Evolution 18: Slowinski beats Edwards
(Melbourne, 9 Oct. 2009)

Slowinski had been recently recovering from an injury and his participation in this event was endangered. Luckily the injury turned out to be not as serious as it had been reported and Paul was fit enough to take on the reigning ISKA SHW World Champion Ben Edwards. Slowinski, the current WMC SHW World Champion, several times knocked down his rival before knocking him out with his trademark low kicks in round 3.

Hopefully this makes him disheartened with kickboxing and he dedicated himself to boxing :DD

Losing to slowinski doesn't mean he is just a hype job, but he probably isn't as good as people thought he was though, some people thought he is a mike tyson clone and ready for kali meehan , but yes no shame in losing to slowinski, slowinski stopped mighty mo with leg kicks, mighty mo is a 2 time k1 champion and he ko'd francis botha in 1 round

Paul is a great kick boxer but Ben's loss has little relevance to his boxing. Both guys are top blokes, yeah hopefully Ben focuses more on his boxing.

There is no denying ben has good hands against kickboxers, but it's a lil humorous that he lost against a complete leg attack kickboxer, against his hand attack, nobody can deny the kid can fight, and we all have our bad days of non focus, heard his legs got him hospitalised(from injuries)but !,any fighter in this game knows what he's in for(sometimes you kick!etc)I do wish him well, hopefully this grounded him a lil,and bigger, better, stronger etc!!!! cheers!!

didn't expect this result. Well done to Paul though. Let's hope we see Ben return even stronger from the loss in either boxing or kickboxing.
