not while his good friend rendall munroe holds that title,he deserves it though, would he consider a move down to bantam to fight for the euro strap there if the situation arose

yes i agree he should go down to bantamweight and get a shot at the guy who beat napa for the ebu belt.booth would outclass him

I dunno how tight Booth is at the weight, but he wasn't a big flyweight. I appreciate you have to take opportunities at whatever weight they come at, but i'd imagine bantam or lower would be his best division

Did anyone see on the Sky coverage last night where it said Booth had fought Froch in the amateurs. I know they are both from Nottingham but bloody hell, what weight would that have been fought at!?!

probably just meant sparring.

booth is in the form of his life and I agree with him going down to bantamweight coz the French guy who holds the European belt isnt that good.

It's either that or as they say push Rendall on to World level and then Booth v Dunne for the vacant European belt.

It didn't say. Just as Booth was getting gloved up there was an info bar on the bottom of the screen that had various bits of info and one of them said 'Fought Carl Froch in the amateurs'. If Booth started out as a Flyweight and Froch is a Super Middle I can't see them ever being anywhere near the same weight.

They are the same age, I imagine they were 10 year olds or something

Regarding the Euro shot, if Munroe vacates to go for world honours then he could be in with a shout for the vacant euro!

Not the same, nowhere near, but Jamie Moore fought Hatton in the Ams, I asked Jamie how he got on "he fu*** battered me mate" was his response. To be fair ricky had had 60 odd fights by this time, and Jamie about 15.
