This past weekend was the second time id seen him live and the first time i wasnt impressed but he seemed to handle glover as easily as o'donnell did. i dont think he would beat o'donnell or brook but both of them will be moving towards EU and world honours soon leavinf brittish and commonwealth vacant. how do you see his future transpiring

PS how the hell did he ever make LWW?

you know my opinion on Amar mate

didn't see him at the weekend so i'll take your word he handled glover as well as JOD did

good point about Brook and JOD moving onwards, yeah, that could give him a chance

against boxers like Jennings he might be okay but IMO put him in with good british level pressure fighters (tho none come to mind offhand) and you watch him go into his shell :TU:

he looked absolutly huge he looked like a middleweight when he got in the ring, glover looked like a child and amar took all his pressure easy

he has legitimitely fought as high as 154 and i *think* his only loss was to Black Country banger Dean Hickman down at 140 wheer like you say he must have been drained to feck.

I don't think O Donnell will stick around EBU level for long.

He was fairly impressive but Glover was made for him. Amar is a typical Ingle fighter hands down fast hands and good reflexes with good movement. Welterweight is a brilliant weight domestically some great fights to be made

Adnan I don't rate. Domestic at best.

Adnan Amar has size as an advantage but Glover's style made him look better than he is.

The welterweight division is hot domestically at the moment, but with the likes of Kell Brook and O'Donnell he wont get past British title level.

Don't rate Amar - he looked decent against an average opponent.

Is the kid powerful? He seemed to hurt Glover but he doesn't look like he moves his arms very quick or with any conviction.

lets give the guy a break, he is starting to plant his feet more and the stoppages are coming on a more regular basis, he is rangy, unorthodox, big at the weight too.

yes we have to question his whiskers after the hickman stoppage but that was 5 years ago, he has matured physically and mentally since then.

id like to see him in a british title shot, then he can potentially build from there.

Adnan is tricky and gives Kell Brook extremely competitive spars ... to be honest i think he'd run rings round Cox, who has got a lot to learn at the mo
