Zsolt Erdei moving up.

Thats an important move for a few British fighters. He's moving up to challenge Giacobbe Fragomeni in an intriguing WBC Cruiserweight title fight.
I wonder will Hide fancy facing Erdei more??? Doubt it.
Also, means the WBO Light Heavyweight title will be vacant..... maybe this is why Mr W didn't mind losing the European purse bids... maybe he has his eye on winning the world title purse bid instead!

I got the impression off cleverly after the interview after beating fry that he didnt want a world title fight until he is finished he is finished his degree.
this fight is the battle of poor world champions with erdei being the worst. Fragg takes this fight by late stoppage

Erdei is a lazy fighter, talented but with a lazy style and never looks conditioned at Light Heavy. I'll give Frag his due. What he lacks for in ability (turning pro very late didn't help) he makes up for in heart, desire and effort.
Nice to see an Italian fighter with balls. I'd like to see Frag win, but think Erdei will be too good. His chin looks very solid.

Hi gents,
1) Brahmer will be declared full WBO champ (did you not spot the "convenience" of his Interim appointment?) unless Erdei loses and decided to move bac k to Light-Heavy.
2) A recent Herbie Hide interveiw said he is facing Matt Godfrey for WBC Interim honours with the winner to face the Fragomeni-Erdei winner for the full title.
But who knows what will ACTUALLY happen.
best wishes

I was looking at the rankings... and Cleverly is ranked #5 by the WBO (and he's beaten Courtney Fry since... which won't do his rankings any harm).
Ranked above him are Glen Johnson and Roy Jones who will probably go for a different route. Murat and Uzelanov might go the WBO route (both ranked above Cleverly at the moment also).
Where does Wlodarczyk fit in the WBC equation. I thought he was installed as mandatory following his draw with Frag.

I wouldn't mind seeing Wlod and Fragg again because the first fight was ridiculously close and I had it a draw and it was a nice fight aswell

Great little battle..... Frag has great heart, he was really beaten that night (close, but I only saw one winner). So Wlod deserves an immediate rematch.
