The thing that annoys me the most, Is Mundine has the most talent of any boxer we have had here in years, Yet he continuelly dosnt test himself. He has had some big wins and then follows it up with 3-4 nothing fights.

He had the talent to compete with the best at 168, yet he was content not to.

Agreed. The guy had talent to burn yet chose to do nothing with it. I bet his old man when he's alone with his own thoughts, comes to the same conclusion. As a father I'm sure he's happy to see Anthony not getting hurt although as a top ex fighter who took no prisoners I wonder whether he's honest with himself when considering Anthony's career

After beating Green in the manner he did (the fight was more one-sided than the scorecards suggest) Mundine should have had the confidence to take on the best. He gave Mikkel Kessler the toughest fight of his life before he faced Calzaghe (I scored it 7-4-1 to Kessler) previously, and I believe that Mundine actually improved after that fight. I don't like the guy, but after the Green fight I was actually excited about where Mundine's career was going. I actually liked the idea of him at middleweight at first too - I thought he stood a better chance of beating Pavlik and Sturm than Kessler. Since then, I have been disappointed time after time at his poor choice of opposition. He looked good in knocking out Soliman, but then for some reason fought him a third time - beating him far less convincingly. Daniel Geale is a very good fighter - I didn't see the fight, but by most reports it was very close - I bet Mundine won't fight him again. I think Mundine can beat Sturm if they do fight, but these South American tune-ups will do nothing for him.

I predict that Anthony Mundine will never fight at middleweight again. He will still fight middleweights, though. Just, he will be at the super middleweight limit. He will keep doing this until father time knocks on his door; he opens it and father time knocks him the feck out.

That's just one possibility.
