Why didn't Calzaghe unify against other British champions?

Was there ever any serious talk of Calzaghe fighting against Reid, Woodhall or Catley when they were WBC champions and he was WBO champion?

Woodhall was champion for quite a long time during Calzaghe's reign. Was there any particular reason it didn't happen?

Since Calzaghe won the WBO title on 11.10.1997:

Reid was WBC champion from 11.10.1997 - 19.12.1997: Just over 2 months.
Woodhall was WBC champion from 27.3.1998 - 23.10.1999: Just under 1 year and 7 months.
Catley was WBC champion from 06.05.2000 - 01.09.2000: Just under 4 months.

I meant whilst Calzaghe held the WBO title. They had two months to unify.

money.

warren would have had to fork out more money to 2 champions.

plus the wbc and wbo had that little falling out around 1998.

at a ricardo lopez fight.

so they didn't allow a fighter to hold both at the same time.

Joe went in,as the underdog, against Mark Delaney, and destroyed him.He also stopped Woodhall and beat(debatebly)Reid.Come on lads, the guy was not a bad boxer. He also beat Eubank, won three aba titles at different weights, and stopped Francis
