Lewis KO1

Mismatch. Cooper's best weapon is the left hook, the punch Lewis was probably best at defending against. Aside from that, I can see Lewis taking Cooper's punches and landing plenty of his own. His jab was not as consistent as Ali's, but no doubt he bust Cooper up and stops him in the early to mid rounds.

I have read a lot about Henry Cooper. He has a very high opinion of himself. I'll bet he thinks he can beat Lennox.

Lewis would win by KO but Cooper had enough savvy to last more than a couple of rounds.

Lewis TKO 5

Cmon this is not that one sided, except to the vast conspiratorial mindless mob that worships at the Lewis Shrine.

Lewis has been hit bt big shots and has gone down, Cooper has taken down the best chin of all time.

This is not impossible.....though I would agree rather unlikely....but so were the losses to Rahman and Oliver. And Cooper could likely match that sort of firepower. IMHO. So if it's his lucky day...who knows.

But the Lewis KO 1 is not a bad bet. By the way were both of the shots that dropped Lewis Right Hands? If so that does make this a bit more Lewis sided.

Such disrespect for old fighters from supposed boxing fans, it's very sad to read.

I expect Lewis would come out with his right sellotaped to the side of his head the way he did versus Morrison and Tua - certainly if Cooper can deck Ali hard with his hook it can badly hurt Lewis.

I think Lewis guards against the hook & busts Cooper open with his jab for a cut stoppage. I can't see him stepping right in & opening up with big combos to flatten Cooper the way Patterson did, it's likely to be a cautious win.

Lewis was in a diffrent class to Cooper and could take his punches I would lean towards the 4-6 rounds for a Lennox KO

Lewis would have left Cooper's face looking like a busted tomato, with just his jab.

Lennox wins in 2 rounds tops, by K.O.

cooper would have a chance via his KO LEFT. but lewis is a big tip to win by 4 or 5. he jabs too well for henry's eyes to escape

It's Cooper that has a shrine erected in his honour, which is visited regularly by old men drinking pints of mild.

17st Lewis would have stopped the 12st 12lbs Cooper rather easily - There is nothing to suggest that Cooper would have took the
kind of punch that Lewis could deliver. Different fighters in different times.

Cooper does have a very high opinion of himself. He even said he was as good a fighter as Ali and would have got the better
of him but for Alis 'negro features'

The short and odds on answer is Lewis in 5 or under

But a POSSIBLE alternative scenario…Lewis get complacent and drops his right when he throws his jab, or when he hangs his left out there to size up distance, and Cooper catches him with a left. It would only have to happen once

Silly fight, Lewis outweighs him by sixty pounds. However if Cooper caught him with the left, Lewis might go.

By the way in two fights Ali couldnt even hurt Cooper once let alone KO him.

Why not try Cooper v Haye. Cooper at 187 and Haye at 195. Thats a more sensible match.
